@qxDesertEaglexp I work too hard to be mad, but in all honesty, I gave up on cod when Vanguard came out. I got the new mw2 but I'm just tired of it tbh. I just wish Activision would learn from this and start going back to how they used to do it but they most likely won't
Actually parents don't do that. Only on special occasions. Kids can steal the info and the parents won't press charges on their kids. Maybe take credit out in the kids name I heard loll so the kid would technically be playing the parents or guardian. The industry is targeting the people that became doctors, lawyers, investors ect.. they don't have a lot of game time due to professions. The average gamer is there to pay the 70$.
@@fenrirbooth7487 agree with you. I felt like I got robbed with Vanguard. I throughly enjoyed WW2 COD. It was the last COD I played a lot. Now it just seems as tho they’re more about skins/aesthetics more than the actual game itself. Just like anything else it can only stay on top before it falls.

Honestly started with socom and had a blast. I havent touched CoD in months and you start to realize how angry it actually makes you.
Some of the most fun gaming I’ve ever had was socom 2 online. First online game I ever played.
And they still have yet to discuss SBMM in Warzone. That statement they released said it was multiplayer only and would discuss WZ at another time. Since Warzone is free to play they can probably get away with a lot more and they don’t want us to know how it works.

Why are some people so stuck on this idea that only the things they like can be awesome, and everything else has to be relentlessly diminished in an effort to disuade peoples opinions? It happens in the mechanic field with tools too. Some guys are die hard snap on, and everything else is a cheap copy of what they think is the best. It shows a lack of perspective, and unwillingness to see why different things are important to different people.
Now I can't speak to xdefiant or the new cod, I've been nose deep in survival games, but I think it's great there's more than one or two big options. Remember rainbow 6 Vegas? I'm ready to break this story ark and try something different from what we're use to.

I stopped playing CoD halfway through Season 2 of Al Mazrah and never looked back. I deleted my Activision account. They call XDefiant a copy/paste game but CoD is just recycled geometry running on 12 year old game engine design. XDefiant is just pure fun. I scream and clap and laugh out loud like I haven't done in a very long time. I love the speed of movement and the fact that XDefiant is unpretentious and not trying to be anything other than an arcade hero-shooter. CoD is constantly pretentious, cosplaying as a mil-sim and missing the mark time after time. I have no problem dropping the Euros on XDefiant but Activision/Blizzard will never see another dime out of me. I don't even watch CoD content ever. I will not engage.
I don’t know how players even still take the military aspect seriously anymore with the cat and monkey skins in the shop along with the other sci-fi skins.
The gun camos are one thing but I been realized they were hopping on that fortnite train.

Ummm my memory must be hazy. Blackout didn't launch with blk ops 4 it was a dlc down load later ? Just like firestorm didn't launch wit bf. I play both and have online neways since blk ops 1. Talking since launch and bf4 since launch except 2042 which I do play bit it feels like advanced warfare. Everyone gets a mulligan lol. But I remember playing firestorm 1st then seeing blkout???? Just remember thinking how cringe the similarities were and couldn't get into either at the time. ffw and I'm a warzone junkie lol

I've been playing FPS games for 25+ years now and xDefiant definitely has potential. It's still brand new and has some polishing to go through, but so many other FPS games like CS:GO, Overwatch and Apex also had some really rough launch issues, but still got popular anyway because they were fun despite the technical issues. XDefiant has the same opportunity here. If the devs make smart moves and do everything right that CoD isn't, then they can establish themselves as one of the best free to play FPS games on the market.

Haven’t played fps in over a year. Been enjoying ark. Also were games that much better in those years? Or is it nostalgia and being a teenager or younger and just enjoying gaming more. My favorite games are socom 2, wc3, cs and bo1, I think just because of the nostalgia and being a carefree kid staying up all night gaming.

Great vid bro. My only knock against Xdefiant is the lvl of a BR mode. Warzone changed how I feel about shooters. Winning a game in multiplayer can’t compare the the rush of winning a game of Warzone. That being said, it’s a fun game and I look forward to what it evolves into.
Battle royale is phasing out as a concept, although it had a good run. Warzone and Apex will probably be the last two standing going forward. I expect extraction shooters to be the next trend. Escape from Tarkov will serve the same sort of function that PUBG did for BR being the first to do the concept well. Bungie is releasing an extraction shooter called Marathon, and I bet CoD releases a full fledged Extraction mode with dedicated maps etc..
@@mosin9349 The closest I have played would be the DMZ mode. It was fun, but didn't give me the same level of satisfaction.
@@patrickcreson7722 yeah that was what it was called, DMZ. Like I said I would expect CoD to release a much more intricate and fleshed out extraction mode. DMZ was kind half baked and low stakes. A good extraction raid, like in Tarkov is every bit of if not more exhilarating than a BR match. It just has to be done right in terms of risk/reward, bosses, and loot and mechanics outside of a raid. I’m really interested to see what Marathon is like.
I feel you there, even though after 8 years of BRs, im getting burned out, but i still think BRs will still be relevant for years to come.

Everyone should be rooting for xdefiant to do well to put pressure on Activision. Its not like cod is going to disappear and you would be insane to think cod couldnt be ALOT better than it currently is.

Been playing COD for over 20 years… hasn’t hit with me for a long time. Was a fan of Cold War but I only liked campaign and zombies.
I downloaded Xdefiant last week and I have almost 14 hours into it already. I know that’s not a lot but for me, 14 hours in a week hasn’t happened since black ops 2. COD is such shit nowadays, I’m so damn happy to play the hell out of this game.
They are mad because they wanted it to be the reason they could stop pumping cash into cod, but sadly it is just not that.
I don't expect xdefiant to kill COD. But i do see it being the game welcoming gamers with open arms when the next cod is a let down.

XDefiant is the best game I'll never play because I don't play arena shooters like this. Only reason I *EVER* jump in CoD Multiplayer is to complete weekly challenges to get new conversion kits.
I don't see a reason to shit on XDefiant though, it's pretty good from what I played of it before I realize it was just an arena shooter lol

Good talk Savage. I slip into Pubg when WZ gets too much, for whatever reason. XDefiant looks good for multiplayer. I think when the next COD drops, I'm only doing WZ and then this, XDefiant for Multi. Done paying for a game that has constant issues.
I rather deal with a FTP game with problems, than a fully priced game with problems.

I quit playing cod when season 2 came out. Under no circumstances should a micro transaction cost more than the game itself. Xdefiant is fun and obviously needs work since it’s only been out 2 weeks.
Xdefiant is a fantastic casual arena shooter just like BO1 and 2 were and Ubisoft/Mark Rubin are doing great with XD. I personally feel like XD for me will be the secondary game to CS2 for a long while on PC.
I've enjoyed xdefiant, even though I don't play multiplayer. I don't play it often, because I've got to be in the mood for it. I've been playing a lot of Destiny 2 lately.

I played for a week and a half before i bout the founders edition cause i want to support the devs. I dont mind paying for skins and junk in a free to play game as long as the game is fun and has quality.

I still love COD and I'm actually happy with MW3 lately but from the little time I have in XDefiant I think it's a good game. I'm pretty terrible at it but I have fun.
Competition is good for all of us as gamers, it drives innovation and a better product. The us vs. them mindset based on what game you prefer is stupid, it should be US vs. the corporations who keep feeding us shit year after year.

Tbh this game is almost exactly like Black Ops 4. Even the ailites and ults are the same. That's not a bad thing tho, I love both of them and am happy XDefiant is here because nobody plays BO4 anymore bc it's last gen. I hope BO6 and XDefient become the best FPS games.
XDefiant is still reaping the excitement of its novelty. Wait until the novelty dies off and it gets much more sweatier. Of course every game starts off being player friendly until the greed comes in. Also I don’t know what games you’re playing but I’d say ppl a good portion of the players are not playing the objective. I just played 7 matches and at least 3 of them were two of us playing objective and the rest of my teammates I barely saw because they were running around the map getting kills with low objective scores and high K/D. Game needs a penalty system for these players and also needs TDM for them. The game has a lot to work on. I’m enjoying the game but it suffers from the same issues that COD suffers from except SBMM which I never thought was a problem anyway

I dance between XDefiant, Apex, and COD. They all scratch an itch for me.. Technically, if they put WZ1 servers back online with next gen upgrades, I'd be all over it. So thanks to COD ending WZ1 because it means I found love for Apex and XDefiant now, too 👍

Honestly xDefiant feels clunky to me, and not the aim assist stuff. Just everything lacks the smoothness COD has.
One friend doesn't like XDefiant not because it's not a good game but because he's only ever played cod, gta, and old ass pokemon. He's hard stuck like a grandpa that only likes one whiskey and one football team. My other homie loves Xdefiant, he's jumped around from csgo, comp halo, battlefield, etc. It's willingness to change or even just a necessity too. One dude doesn't mind blindly playing for a couple hours here and there while getting wasted the other gets frustrated with the semantics of each life and each play. The problem is also investment one dude who only plays cod buys the skins even though he's not even good at the game he just enjoys the nostalgia ish aspect but he has all his "skins" so doesn't want to jump in a new game he doesn't have time to connect with and the other doesn't have time and energy to waste carrying people in an old game where the companies making them doesn't even care about the experience just whether we clock more playtime

Okay I'm going to be honest X defiant is not a bad game it has a lot of positives about it however the one thing that makes me not like the game which unfortunately they're probably never going to fix or change the controls on that game feels clunky and awkward I did two matches alright I had to get off the game and play Modern Warfare 3 because I thought I was doing something wrong and I don't get nowhere near a back control on Call of Duty and this is what's making me not want to play the game besides for the other problem the hit detector which I can do some degree let it go because Black Ops 2 have one of. the worst hit detector in a Call of Duty game and that was a good game it was still a good game.

I mean it's all good to say that CoD and such are not doing anything inovative and so and so. But... what is Xdefiant doing that is so inovative ? no SBMM ? that was a thing back in the from the 90s until League of legend came out. Other than this Xdefiant is a generic shooter with some hero class mechanics that really doesn't bring anything new to this over crowded market of arena shooters. People like me have been playing arena shooters since... UT 99 and Quake 3 experiencing all the different iterations coming after, from Counter strike to call of duty to Team fortress and overwatch.
Xdefiant does absolutely nothing new. I played it...and I instantly called that it would die out fairly quickly and I still believe it will not last a month and follow the path of the finals, Shatterline, splitgate, overwatch etc.. etc...
I believe it will be going that route faster given how bad the Hit regulation is in this game and the long period of times it take Ubisoft to react to these kind of issues in their Online games. We are in 2024, and having these kind of issues to the scale of Xdefiant is absolutely unacceptable to me. I used to 1 tap headshot easily back in Counter strik 1.5 or Unreal tournament instagib mode and now I can't track or hit anybody on Xdefiant and keep dying behind walls ? Nah, let it die.

So you're discussing XDefiant haters while kind of hating on CoD. They brought a lot of new things to shooters in general with CoD, so yes all small improvements that make a big impact together. Maybe they are too small in your opinion for so many titles. I can get that. What exactly is 'movement'? You say Titanfall had 'movement' sooner, do you mean wall running and sliding? Because sliding was earlier in CoD Ghosts than Titanfall was released. 😊 Who worked on Ghosts? Yes it was Mark Rubin. The whole mid air strafe is also not new or something.
You say CoD have an old engine, but that's just not true. The engine is always in active development and will stay that untill it's discontinued and then it will get old. However they keep renewing the engine every title. Just like DICE is doing with Frostbite and hopefully Ubi is doing with SnowDrop.

Anyway I only touched CoD since XDefiant launched when XDefiant was on maintenance and that was an ok experience. I really like XDefiant and I also loved Titanfall, I also bought the BattlePass to support XDefiant. But still I also like CoD, Insurgency, BF etc.
I played two games on launch day and got absolutely smacked down. Then I thought to myself “I don’t have time to get good at another game” so I uninstalled it and went back to COD where nothing fucking works. Maybe I’m just old but I hate what video games have become. lol
