Two quick possibilities, one is that you're in manual mode and have the shutter speed or aperture set to the wrong setting for your light. Or if all your photos are really dark, check the exposure compensation (the second video should show that) and see if it's set to underexpose the photos. And yes, there are other lenses that work on the Nikon One cameras, and because of the limited range of compatible cameras they ten to be pretty affordable, IIRC.
