I have a WSet Diploma Sparkling exam this week and just watched your six videos on Champagne for some light reinforcement. I found them refreshing, informative and very entertaining. You even made some good points the WSet does not. Thank you!

Thanks Gwen for the feedback. Glad it's useful 🙏😊👍 I passed the WSET diploma a few years ago. Been to Champagne twice since, so I guess I've deepened my understanding a little since. All the best with the exam. I'm sure you'll be fine, it's scary but probably more achievable than you think 🥂😅 take care...

Looking forward to more in depth videos on Champagne.
There is a house in the Aube, Pillot, that makes a 100% Pinot Blanc, fantastic.

Thank you for making the Champagne episodes. I'd like to know how to practice so I can tell the mix in a given bottle? Crisp apple/citrus = Chardonnay, grapefruit = Pinot Noir etc.?

I think Gosset used to blend all seven grapes in their brut, using the four lesser know ones in small percentages. Doesn't look like they do that anymore.
