This was actually really funny. I love this game and you gave a great description of it. Not much out there today. Everything just has to look good but it's all the same. This was refreshing to play something that wasn't easy and still isn't easy to master.
I played this to hell and back when it first came out several years ago. They pretty much ported everything over to a different engine I think and updated everything... havent played it since that but I am liking the look of it.
It's very not good though, it's really more of a "grinding" mechanic where you're kinda forced to run the same dungeons over and over again looking for rare drops while the town very slowly builds
OMGosh! I've put in about 600 hours into Outward. First and foremost you need to understand that Outward is reminiscent of old school RPGs. There are no quest markers because old school RPG's didn't have quest markers. When the game first launched it didn't have a quest log because old school RPG's didn't have quest logs. You had to get a note book and take notes. Look. SO many RPGs these days stop just short of being a point and click closed-world CD-ROM completely void of replay ability, exploration and experimentation. My first play through was as a bow user who Shot the bad guys and pulled them in to traps. One of my most fun play throughs was as a fire knight with a grate sword and fire magic. My next play through I'll be using a guitar to beat totems and letting the magic from the totems hit the monsters While dodging their attacks. Also, if you get Definitive Edition you get all the DLC's.
I was thinking about making some kind of stupid joke, but instead I will just tell you you’re funny, the video was hilarious and you deserve more subscribers
Yo the DLCs are not bad! The Soroborean academy is definitely the best story line, with the best side quest, and the area is great to explore! 3 brothers is a downgrade I will admit but also, hey, its more Outward
I started playing outward in coop but my friend ragequit cause he kept getting destroyed, so i finished the game solo. 8/10 would recommend - The post-game dlc sirocco or whatever it is is super grindy and i dont recommend
All you really need to know about Outward is that all the food is French Canadian inspired, and the game takes place in the old testament from what I've heard but haven't ever really did the research into seeing if this is true so I'm going to before I get a reply.
Most of the foods that give you buffs have French names, indeed. As for the story (and mind the spoilers) it is not clear when it takes place, but it's hinted that the timeline is similar to our timeline. As you will visit new areas you will go from primitive villages to magic powered trains. But, the story is the weakest aspect of this game. You will need to roleplay to immerse yourself :D
In the definitive edition the dlcs are already free, I had bought the game long ago when they were not. The dlcs are empty and grindy, they do not contribute that much to the game. Hope you have fun!
You are right, however I have purchased the game before the overhaul and never played it. I found out later that in this case you will have to run the game through steam not desktop and you will own the DLCs. But that was after buying some of them :D
I did not expect someone to notice. I was not happy with the quality of some videos. You are too nice @foreverclaash1619... I will try to get back to making content and the next video is to you!
@TorgrimYT lol I think most people do. It took me a while to figure out that as far as this game goes, you actually have to pay attention to what the NPCs are telling you. Trying to find the mushroom shield was painful since I saw Blister Burrow and just sped through the rest of the conversation, expecting a map marker only to open the map later..
This game is very good . i dont agree with you in this video . But 1 thing i am sure is that your channel will grow very fast your editing is fantastic.
Why are you saying that Outward should not be played solo? I spent 1080 hours playing solo and it's as good as co-op. Also, the DLCs are great and add a lot of new content, such as enchantments and corruption and new skill trees.
Yep, it is >>Outward
Replace out with squid
oh no...
what game is this?
@@Pink000h skyrim, he told us already.
@jessemcintire4885 It's called Outward Definitive Edition. Really fun, immersive, hard-core, and realistic RPG.
Outward feels very very unique and atmospheric. And even a ton of walking didn't ruined my experience during my 100 hours of gameplay.
Indeed, it doesn't break the immersion. Just takes more time.
_Outward_ is that wonderful combination of fun and frustrating.
This game played in split screen coop was the best coop experience ive ever had
welcome to the 90s

Your edit is amazing. I hope your channel blows up.
I just started playing this game!!! Thanks for the awesome content and great video!!!
It's a nice game :)
Outward is honestly such a good game. Super excited for Outward 2!
I played this to hell and back when it first came out several years ago. They pretty much ported everything over to a different engine I think and updated everything... havent played it since that but I am liking the look of it.
Thank you very much for popping up on my reccomended somehow and showing me a game ive just purchased and am about to delve into
Good luck in your adventures! :)
Ha ha ha! That, my friend, was hilarious! Love the content and humor!
Just dropping my 2 cents. This video is mostly spot on, still, i absolutely loved this game, all the jankiness included
The fact this game has couch coop immediatly makes this game goated
i love this game , can coop split screen 😁
It's a nice feature :)
Top tier editing skills, subscribed
400hrs of playing time and counting on Outward Definitive Edition. Playing local coop with my gf and we are almost done with all the Unknown Arenas.
If they had a builder mechanic I would be interested.
They do. In the DLC
It's very not good though, it's really more of a "grinding" mechanic where you're kinda forced to run the same dungeons over and over again looking for rare drops while the town very slowly builds

This game is like going to the cupboard and finding a box of oreos just to discover that there is only 1 oreo left.
For me this game was 50% survival, 10% souls like 20% walking simulator, and 20% story
You described exactly how it is :D
I was thinking about making some kind of stupid joke, but instead I will just tell you you’re funny, the video was hilarious and you deserve more subscribers
I am glad that you enjoyed it, thank you!

you need to build new sirocco, not so fun but new boses and skill....
Pablo 💀
That 3ball mty edit lol
nice video 👍also you forgot one more thing you can do in outward:
Become God.
Hi, I am just starting. Why should I not buy the dlcs? I bought the definit edition. It gives the option to play definit or vanilla.
In the definitive edition the dlcs are already free, I had bought the game long ago when they were not. The dlcs are empty and grindy, they do not contribute that much to the game. Hope you have fun!
👍🏻 👌🏼 lol I enjoyed your review ,funny and entertaining I'm going to give this game a try
Have fun :)
But I think definitive edition comes with the DLCs?

@@TorgrimYT6 months since last video… currently eagerly waiting… Hope ur new years is Great
I just started replaying by myself, the first time I died I got put in jail and made to mine for forever. I then uninstalled💀
Ask the guards if there is any other work to do. They will let you outside and you can sneek to the next room in the left where your items are stored.
Literally, all you need to do is talk to the NPCs to know what you have to do.
@@ChaoticSixXx I won't lie, first time we tried to fight the guards with shivs and pickaxes :)

I'm happy with the ones that are here :)
Good game for relaxation :)
This game is very good . i dont agree with you in this video . But 1 thing i am sure is that your channel will grow very fast your editing is fantastic.
the dlcs is both the best part of outward and the worst
based game
Lol your dodging, blocking, and crafting skills and abilities need some improvements 😄

This game is adictive i have beaten 3 factions so far
all these weak gamer reviews is the reason, this game doesn't have enough recognition.
Lmao 😂
damn this guy deserves millions of subs, quality content
