I’m not a Tundra or Tacoma fan but that one is bad ass. I only don’t like them for two reasons, I don’t fit in the Tacoma, and my father had one of the Tundras where they issues with the frames rusting my my father was lucky enough to have one that needed replaced. But that being said, even once that was taken care, everything underneath that truck was rusted, EVERYTHING. Now that truck looks cool enough for me to almost forget that Toyota stopped putting V8’s in them.
The wheel selection is a bit aggressive. So it would normally have about 2-3 inches of poke with factory suspension. But this has a long travel kit. So the upper and lower a-arms are bigger and wider to allow for the suspension to travel more. So most long travel kits are going to add 3-4" per side to accommodate the travel.
That looks awesome this truck I wish I can find a similar shop in New Jersey so I can transform my 23 Toyota Tacoma into a beast. I love what you guys doing for those trucks well done job
Love the content guys! Quick question, can we do this on a 23’ Sequoia? I have a TRD Off-Road but the ground clearance is horrible. I’ve been looking into the “Icon” lift but would to hear any type off feedback or recommendations! I’m up in Oregon so we have the rain, mud and dunes at the coast! But I need something that can do it all! 🤙🏽
No LT kits we know of that’s available yet for the new Sequoia. Our go-to mid travel setup is King for the new Sequoia right now. Fox is coming out with a PES setup for it that should be up there as well.
I have a questions at what point is a suspension considered long travel and mid travel does it have to have a certain length of travel or does it have to have a certain diameter of the shock because everyone is throwing around long travel like it's a generic thing. From what I have been told long travel is like 24 plus inches and mid travel is like less or what raptors and trxs have. So please can anyone help me understand this?
These kits are bolt on long travel kits. They are long lower and upper control arms, you’ll need to upgrade to longer shocks and axel shafts. If you want the next step, which is very insane, you’d be looking at a center mount kit, which adds insane amounts of travel. Travel is just the measurement from tuck to full extension of your wheels
I have a question I recently added the Westcott designs Lyft on my 24 tundra just wanting to know do I need to change the upper control arms? is that something that is required or do I not have to what would be the benefits of doing it and the benefits are the non-benefits of not doing it
Phase 1 shown here: suspension, chop, wheels, and tires is roughly $20k as of February 2024. Had to mention that because I know someone in 2030 is going to see this and think that’s still the case. At this inflation rate it’ll be much more by then.

@@88ROTORS haha love the content brother 😎
What center caps did you guys use on the lunar truck with the 315 methods? Also, what type of lugs? Thanks!
Hey I want to know what would be your best recommendation if I want soft suspension that is good enough for rocky roads on a tundra 2024 TRD
Now that’s a beast looking truck badass looks really nice great job!

Dayum the long travel tundra is straight fire
What’s the reason for the extreme poke of the wheels in the front and back? I didn’t see them use spacers and new to suspension set ups

That wheel/tire set up 🔥🔥

whoa can you ask the owner how they did the custom mood lights on the interior @5:20??
They are just RGB ambient light kits. You can buy and install yourself if you’re up for it or have any interior shop do it. 👍
Nice set up,that’s a good bajakits

Correct, this kit is nowhere near a long travel kit. IMHO its barely a mid travel setup at 13"

Love that kit or look of the 2023 Tundra. Wouldn't mind it on my 2006 Tundra. 😊
Love the long travel tundra!!!💯
When we gonna see some gx550 or Land Cruiser setups bro?
How much for the entire suspension only ?
How do you extend the rear differential?
There's no need to.
@@88ROTORS same offset of wheels?
With wheel spacers to even out the stance
@@88ROTORS Are wheel spacers safe? Btw awesome builds

@@joemartinez1148 I’ve seen some people saying the ride quality is pretty bad tho what is it like for u thxs
The ride is more stiff but nothing egregious

How much for the install?
Dude how much is that kit?
how much is this set up?

Looks really good too much for me.
Wheel bearings are crying right now.
Why would they be? It's just a 0 offset wheel, nothing crazy. Theyre getting the width from the upper and lower control arms, not the wheel offset.
Wheel bearings are perfectly fine. This is a long travel set up with standard wheel/tire specs.
Just take my wallet 🤤
Ok. What’s in it? 😂
10k that enough ha
Нах такой нужен если них не ездиет по назначению. Делаете чтоб блестел и все? Дизлайк
Ace the stock 1/4 panels and install Fiberworks glass fenders.....then You've graduated!
Nice work, as always 88R
Thanks! 👍
