- Self-control was once a cherished attribute. But to look at our world today, it’s as though self-control was nothing but a thing of the past. Nowadays it’s, “Anything goes! If it feels good, just do it!” Our society is swiftly becoming a society of no respect for anyone, or anything. Matthew 24: 12 tells us that, “Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Certainly, Christ’s prophetic words are now our reality! But as a child of God who desires Heaven to be our eternal home, what’s the problem with following in the footsteps of the world? Is there a really a higher standard? Does a moral absolute truly exist? or, has the Devil deceived us into believing that we can be one with the world and one with God? And really, what’s the problem if we slip into the muddy water of sinful thoughts and actions once in a while? Prayerfully, we will answer these questions in principle as we look into “Power & Peace = Self Control” for our Family Worship study during this program with Pastor Kenny & Chris Shelton along with their guests, Ryan & Stephanie Day and Eddie & Linda Clark.

Thank you all for another powerful message ,which is much needed .I especially struggle with self control and surrendering all ,I ask our LORD every morning and night and I know he hears me .The fault lies with me .I can't seem to do my part,even though I want to. Family Worship is so important.

would you say the mark of the beast is received when the famine of hearing the word of God is come?(Matt 25:9, Rev 13:17) is this not the 2nd & 3rd angels messages and the second woe?(Rev 11:14) when the second woe is past, the third woe cometh quickly.(Rev 2:5, 16, 3:11, 11:14, 22:7, 12, 20)
