Same here with the glasses. Have gotten to the point where I need to wear them more but when I take them off my vision is almost worse than before!!

Given how the '62 Chevy came out last year, and seeing the engine you plan to use in this one, you may have another winner on your hands.

Nice to see you building again Matthew. Yes, the eyesight is the first to go. You need to go see an eye doctor and get the correct glasses. That will help with your eye strain. I still use magnifiers when doing really close work."Looking" forward to the next update! 👍👍

Almost 48 years old???? I wish I were still that young! I'm almost 62 but I still work on models. And I use magnifiers due to failing eyesight, but I do a lot of stuff by feel anymore.
    Love the videos!

Cool man! Love the Mopars. I’ll be looking forward to see what you do with this one. Have fun! Mini tub it to fit your tire choice and move the leaf springs to the frame rails or even to the inside of the rails. Cut the wheelwells out to the frame rails, hence mini tubbing. The “330” was a stripped down version of the Polara or Coronet. Some call the 330 a 2 door post car.. The thing that made the 330 special/desirable for the drag racers: it was the lightest, strongest 2 door uni-body in the Mopar lineup. The solid post behind the front door(B pillar) made it real stiff to eliminate flexing. An important consideration for racing The 330 was considered a sedan, where the other roof design with the triangular shaped C pillar was considered a hardtop (no post or frame around the front door) Long winded explanation i know. Love your channel. Cant wait to see u and the family again at a show in the future.

I understand the eyesight issues. Without my glasses I am pretty much blind. I love my magnifying headset. It makes a huge difference in my close up vision. It looks like it is a really nice kit, even with all of the sanding issues the body looks nice. In order to figure out where to cut the hood, after you install the engine, put lipstick on the top of the carbs then place the hood on the car, and the marks from the lipstick will let you know where to cut. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video! Sorry for camera issues. I looked at the 1967 GTX kit and had some big slicks, I trimmed out the upper wheel wells and trimmed that little bit of plastic out side the frame wells and walaa! Just have to add styrene for tubbs and I have a big tired car! Just my thought, I would make the hole in hood and fill from there? Also, you could make it a light weight and make the bumpers aluminum? Have fun!!

Sprue-Goo would be the thing to use on the hood. Use it to fill the circles, then sand smooth. It’s the “Little Old Lady from Pasedena’s brand new, shiny red Super Stock Dodge”. 😂 I hope y’all are keeping your heads above water over there. Peace and love.

The Dodge 330 was a full-size automobile sold by Dodge from 1962 to and 1964, and was based on the B-body. The coupe often used a 6-cylinder engine. The car was available as a 2dr Sedan or 4dr Sedan. Base motor was the 225 Slant-Six. The 318 2bbl, 361 2bbl, 383 2bbl, 383 4bbl, and 426 4bbl were optional. As an intermediate trim level above the Dart, it came standard with a cigarette lighter, front foam cushions, and rear arm rests.

That is pretty standard MOPAR street machine choice. 440's live and breathe a lot easier, although few would go with the old-style tunnel ram. It ought to look pretty good.

@@lancerevell5979 For me, it's astigmatism. " Self - induced " at that, by not using a magnifier while working on electronic components when I was in the U.S.N. All that " hyper-focusing " really did a number on my vision. IDK if my vision could be fixed with lasik or not, but even if possible, I don't have the money for the procedure anyway.

Matt The Numbered Name Series Were Confusing Because the Number Badge's Were So Small This is "330" Sister Model to Polara. My Fiancee Bought 65 880 4Dr Sports Roof in 84 As First Car She Said It only Was A Dodge ? I said No Dodge is Make there's also Model Like Polara or Monoco. I'd Forgotten Dodge Number Series 330, 440 & 880. Even She Got it Home I pointed to 880 on Chrome Trim You've Got A Dodge 880

Guys, wait until you have cataracts develop. Have one eye almost completely clouded over. Try only being able to use one eye, building. It ain't fun. After surgery it is so much better. Your prescription is in the replacement lenses. Only need glasses for up close reading some model building work, but not all of it. It is quite a change.
