I'm an F1 fan for like 20yrs bow, but never managed to get excited over F1 cars in Gran Turismo series. I guess mostly because there's been literally close to no use for them. The last Formula championship was featured in like GT4/GT5 or something, several years ago :)
I spent 2 days thinking if I should spend 8 of my 9 millions for that car and today I did. I was hesitant because for me that's a lot of credits and especially because there aren't any 900pp races in the game to actually 'properly' use that car. But after I bought it and took it to Nordschleife and Spa for time trial I knew I made the right choice! I can't even remember the last time my face had such a wide smile while playing a videogame! As a huge Senna-fan I felt like the legend myself for a short while. That Williams livery is extremely well done but this is Senna's iconic championship winning McLaren so that just does not fit! The only thing that does is that old white and red Marlboro livery!
If you want a wild ride, try using the offset view and wobble type 2 if you’re using cockpit view. it’s like being on a rollercoaster at spa and Nord 😋
i had to get this being a Senna fan so i'm glad PD included it just in time for the Belgium GP.. however at 8 million CR, it's slightly expensive imo but on the other hand only 4 exist in the wild so maybe 8 mil is not bad considering. does anyone think we will see another F1 car in the game? BTW i never realised that the F1500 T-A was Senna's Lotus so when i get time and enough CR's back it's entering my collection.😀😀😀👍
The prices or rather more the economy are out of control...8.000.000 at current grind rates is roughly 5,5 h of grind. Or in terms of GT7 fantasy money (which I certainly won't buy, although actually WORKING for 5,5 h would net me significantly more) 80€. Sad to see how the game locks iconic cars that every motorsport fan would like to experience behind such ridiculous asks.
Can somebody tell me if they also have this glitch when in cockpit view for this car when you turn left the cam sings almost past the screen. But when you turn right it is stable
Hi mate can I ask since this new update came out have you noticed any problems with certain cars while steering I’ve driven two group 3 cars I have a Mercedes GT and an Audi R8 both cars feel a lot heavier to drive and are all over the place in fast and slow corners and Tyre degradation seems a lot worse before this update if you can get back to me that would be great thanks 👍
glad I'm not the only one that's noticed this, I was just playing the 800pp race on Sardegna and I noticed my tires were completely gone on lap 6 where as before they would only be like 25% red on lap 8 when I put on the rx-7 I was using and the mechanical damage is awful now, I grazed a wall and my front end and both left tires were damaged and caused me to run into more walls and ruin the race for me.
@@nickellis1495 I used the medium compound on Watkins Glenn group 3 race and my tyres were gone after lap 3 and I wasn’t pushing the car all that hard something needs be done about these issues because some cars have become very difficult to drive
@@morganwilliams2288 I completely agree, something needs to be done because it made most of the cars I like using to grind and have fun basically unusable. I didn't hear anyone talking about tyre wear needing to be changed or the mechanical damage needing to be changed because there was nothing wrong with it. it seems like almost every update they've put out with this game they managed to mess something up

@@morganwilliams2288 not exactly sure how to contact them directly but I've seen some people taking about this on the granturismo 7 subreddit so hopefully it get enough traction there but if some people like HSG or super gt make some statements on it it'll be more likely polyphony will hear what we're saying
I prefere the lotus over this because in my opinion, old F1 and other race cars should have a loose rear end. Obviously I don't know how the real mp4/4 handles, but it shouldn't feel like it's on rails.
Change the downforce and turn TC and ABS off for a more realistic experience - you can also change the wing in parts too which has a dramatic affect on the look and effect on the DF too
I think I'd have preferred it if it wasn't specifically the McLaren MP4/4, purely because I like unusual liveries. Clearly, you can put one on, but it doesn't sit well - and I know the 1500T is the Lotus, but it's not labelled that way, so I don't feel so weird about making it look like the 1981 ABBA ATS car.
8 million isn't actually that much if you know how to keep the bank rolling, with constant grinding of numerous events. Or by taking the easy way of buying your way to the top

Thing that drives me crazy the most, is the lack of money grinding races. Like they just gave up on it.
I hope pd add some v10/v12 era f1 cars later on. 2 are in the game and they are both turbo v6s.

You can change body parts & rear wing on the Mclaren & with the Mclaren especially the rear wing it not only changes the PP but also downforce levels.
