- Palestinians in Gaza have resorted to grinding livestock feed and bird feed to make bread for themselves, amid severe food shortages and looming famine. The situation is compounded by the blockage of aid trucks into Gaza.
“This wheat is intended for animal consumption,” said MEE correspondent Mohammed al-Hajjar. “It’s not the high-quality type made for humans.”

This was several weeks ago by now.
My grandmother used to say some short stories, from a war. She said she had to eat mouldy bread from the streets, she and others were wetting with water the bread and were putting some sugar on it to eat it. It can not be possible. We can not be Living in a World Like This.
During the German Occupation or after, something like that.
And a fairy tale where a woman escaped or was let to go I think, from good Germans she said, or she did something, she said she said she was going to bring something and they tied something, a robe on her leg to make sure that she is there and she will come back and got away because she was moving the robe so they know, then she tied somewhere the robe and tried to run with heavy breathing but she escaped. I can't remember exactly yet but she said the woman couldn't walk fast and breath from fear...That was a favourite of mine from the fairy tales because the woman escaped, but she had only fear with this story, no hate. And then the short descriptions of the mouldy bread.
The damage from trauma in general is huge.

The woman had said that she had hid gold maybe something like that, money, food, something else there maybe, in the straws and because the Germans were eating and drinking, they were drunk, something like that, they had let her go get it that way. She could not even say it.
Was it her story her mothers story, she was afraid with this fairy tale always and sometimes she couldn't tell me again, I was always asking to hear the fairy tale she was afraid and I thought she was the greatest story teller especially in the escape part.

Ask israel that question. They are only allowing one fifth of the aid and supplies that used to go to Gaza to get in, and very little at all is being allowed to go to north Gaza.

I can understand they are having hard time and I want no one hungry but he sounds arrogant. They wheat berries look the same as ours in the US and we also have to compromise our food because of the lack of access to fresh veggies in our region.
