I’m in shock, heard how hard Mohg was and went in expecting to die at least 10-15 times. Beat him first try, roughly lvl 100-105, used mimic tear +4, moonveil katana +8 and naganikaba +21. Make sure you have the mixed physick tear for his curse, the one that continually heals you, and be aggressive and you’ll get him. I will say he was not a pushover though, bring boluses for bleed and be on point, I almost died numerous times throughout the fight, but for all the punishment FromSoftware like to deal out through their games it prepared me to ace this fight.
@@DeepStone-6 its called Purifying Crystal Tear. You get it from beating Eleanora I think. She'll invade you at some point, in the second church of Marika
Honestly the easiest way to beat him or at least get him to phase 2 is to use a cold weapon. When he gets frostbite, use the shackle which will give you a couple of second to get a hit in, and right after his 2nd ring around you, shackle him again. This will immediately force him to use his last ring and activate 2nd phase. Use the mix you got from Yura, and keep attacking. The more you attack at t he start of 2nd phase the high likely he will break his stance.
I died a bunch of times especially due to that ring around your body attack which is impossible to dodge (i think) , then i used mimic tear and he wasnt even able to go into phase 2 lmao
I just beat him right now. I used a mimic to keep him busy while using my arrows with the two arrow talismans. At the very last moment I used my Bloodhound to make the final strike.
I just needed to know if that place 2 attack was avoidable.. I guess it’s not? Kinda bullshit if you ask me you shouldn’t be forced to take damage if you’re good enough.. I’m not good enough but still 😅 thanks for the upload!
It is avoidable. Look up how to get the purifying crystal tear for the Wondrous Physik (you need to follow the questline for a guy named Yura to get it). It nullifies the curse.
I came here because I had no idea what to do when he starts his 2nd phase, Skipped through till you talked about it cuz I didnt want to be spoiled on anything else Despair. Beat him tho, no gimmicks, just me and my halberd :D
It's a very though fight but it's fair once you use the Crystal tear to prevent his curse. Every Attack can be rolled through (also the Blood tails After his swings) and can be learned and mastered with enough time and patience. The only thing that May seems unfair Is the huge amount of bloodloss that the Fire gives when you step over It, but if you learn how ti move in the arena in the end Is less problematic than It seems initially
Blood and fire are no match for good ol' CHEESE. I just put the thrusting WA on my greatsword and jammed it in his gut every opportunity The boss is downright unfair for one reason: you have a stamina restriction, he doesn't, a problem with a lot ER bosses, they can just spam garbage nonstop. If he doesn't want to play by the rules, I make better rules.

2. Duel wield high level slashing weapons with bleed buildup⚔️🩸
3. Apply your buffs🔥
4. Pick one, summon mimic🤺👥
5. Wail on their asses🥊
Great video! Thank you!
Seeing your DMG made me realize I'm way too under leveled xD
theres a tear for your mixed physics flask that counters the phase 2 transition damage
Are you talking about the one that gives like 1 flask heal when you're about to die? I guess that's one way to save a flask.
@@DeepStone-6 its called Purifying Crystal Tear. You get it from beating Eleanora I think. She'll invade you at some point, in the second church of Marika
@@DeepStone-6 its specifically for his curse. He'll still heal, but you won't take damage
Oh shit that's what that's for!
I ve just got a win on Rykard solo no serpent hunter and my life was nearly to 0 when I finally got him. I'm glad to not be the only one ^^
I switched build right before this fight and it's making me wonder if i should've just kept the lightning build
My banished knight spirit actually hangs most of the fight with this boss I was quite impressed
I died a bunch of times especially due to that ring around your body attack which is impossible to dodge (i think) , then i used mimic tear and he wasnt even able to go into phase 2 lmao
“Miquella is mine, and mine alone”… 😢
I just beat him right now. I used a mimic to keep him busy while using my arrows with the two arrow talismans. At the very last moment I used my Bloodhound to make the final strike.
Bruh I can easily kill his first half but physically can’t do his second half💀
Radahn is the dlc final boss lol miquella brings him back apparently?
@@lugia8888thx for spoiling the dlc for no reason at all
@@elite1361fr
1st phase was cake, 2nd phase should have the developer who made this fired
I just needed to know if that place 2 attack was avoidable.. I guess it’s not? Kinda bullshit if you ask me you shouldn’t be forced to take damage if you’re good enough.. I’m not good enough but still 😅 thanks for the upload!
It is avoidable. Look up how to get the purifying crystal tear for the Wondrous Physik (you need to follow the questline for a guy named Yura to get it). It nullifies the curse.
I came here because I had no idea what to do when he starts his 2nd phase, Skipped through till you talked about it cuz I didnt want to be spoiled on anything else
Despair.
Beat him tho, no gimmicks, just me and my halberd :D
ayy grats! good stuff!
Dude same
If only Kai could look at this he would learn
It's a very though fight but it's fair once you use the Crystal tear to prevent his curse. Every Attack can be rolled through (also the Blood tails After his swings) and can be learned and mastered with enough time and patience. The only thing that May seems unfair Is the huge amount of bloodloss that the Fire gives when you step over It, but if you learn how ti move in the arena in the end Is less problematic than It seems initially
Is it called crystal tear and where may I get this
@@user-mu8ok5xf8d reward for Killing eleanore (not sure about the name) in the Altus plateu during the Quest of Yura
Blood and fire are no match for good ol' CHEESE.
I just put the thrusting WA on my greatsword and jammed it in his gut every opportunity
The boss is downright unfair for one reason: you have a stamina restriction, he doesn't, a problem with a lot ER bosses, they can just spam garbage nonstop. If he doesn't want to play by the rules, I make better rules.
Beat the boss immediately after watching this. Think the fire resistance talisman was key for me
This guy strong armed his way through without all the bs😂 i wanna know how many times he died and how long after this video he found out theres a tear that stops him from wasting all his flasks😅
Honestly, i used the Halo Scythe +8 and got him in 3 tries on my first playthrough. I just had good armor and talisman against fire damage. Felt pretty good and was one of the easiest shardbearer bosses for me. (After being stuck at mohg, the omen for 3 hours)
@carlskaterguy4972someone couldn’t beat mohg 💀💀
Him doing the bleed attack 3 times is just BOGUS. Like I can’t
Me and my friend been fighting him for 4 days lol, I keep using comet azur and it does about 10,000 damage so it gets him at half but but he does that curse and I can only get him to half again
You can counter moghs second phase with a tear you can put into the wondorous flask
You can actually get a physic tier in altus plateau that negates the entirety of his nihil attack The but it does require you to use up an entire spot in your physic
Everything is easy until he starts GOING YOU SHALLL NOT PASSSSSS
He is the hardest boss for me. I beat malenia on my second attempt very easily. Maliketh died first try. Same as Horah louix. This guy tho wrecks me every time
freezing grease, mohgs shackle, purifying cracked tear, and lord of blood's exultation make him so much easier to
I feel like an absolute badass I just attacked him so much he never went into phase 2!!!! This is on my first ever play through so I’m not even like broken over powered ywt
i can dodge literally every attack except from the claw idk how
Bloodhound fang maxed with faith buff and incantation. Used my mimic and it was over before he had time for phase 2. He started it but mimic was holding Shri and I took him from behind. One of the easiest fights. I usually die 10 times first. Did this boss way late though.
it was easy cuz you used summons
Impressive. But how did you beat him before phase 2? he heals at 3/4 of his total HP even if you hit like crazy
Bro Take the Omenkiller Cleaver 2 times and royalknights resolve. 1 with Frost 1 with blood take the tear who deletes his special move nihil. Summon the mimik and take all who boosts ur jumpattack and strength and kill him with jum attacks at NG+7 he is so easy to kill with this strat.
Fighting my demons trying to use malekiths blade on new game plus on him. He doesn't stance break easily and the ash is too hard to pull off. Just been trying jump attacks and pokes
The second part is where im struggling I feel like I can't hit him when I do
In put off beating roddan ( sorry I know I’m misspelling his name) until today. Now I’m working on Mohg now.
The fire he spreads is everywhere during the second phase is actual cancer. The blood loss is enough of a gimmick, but the fire is just annoying
Did a whole respec, used mohg's shackle, put in 30+ attempts, still couldn't get him past half health in his second phase. Then, I tried one more time, only difference was mimic tear, and got him only using three flasks.
The bubble tear in your flask is crucial
Bloodhounds step helps a ton
Hemorrhage and magic effects is your best bet on damage
Immune to sleep fire
I'm a very very high faith build. my normal weapon attacks deal like 200dmg to him no matter what i use =( any suggestions? not sure what to do and i really don't want to respec back to a faith/strength hybrid just to beat him =/
Im trying to fight him for the 2nd time now (first time i was playing game and dlc w spirit ashes) and w the mimic tear this dudes so easy i beat him first try but with out any of that i didnt realize how hard he is..
I have tried blead and strength for this battle and I died over a 100 times trying to beat mogh yesterday and just now. The attacks are hard to dodge and the second phase, however you call it is also harder to tackle.. there is no easy guide, just dying for days until you have to cheat your way and wave the white flag. I need help beating this boss one way or the other.
Helped a lot thanks
Expect another 300,000 views over the next two weeks haha great return on investment video
Awesome video. What’s your stats at the time?
I am level 115.. beat mohg in about 45 seconds.. blood fang +10 with blood coating and mimc tear leveled up fully.. desroyed him ..
what swords are u using?
I'm usually fuked after the "Here YEEE" bit
What weapons do u use and what level are they?
All I need is white mask, rivers of blood, mohg shackle, purifying crystal tear and mimic
I was stuck at thsi for days, Malenia was 3 him was 4. There's no healing window.
i was lvl 105 using a +16 colossal sword (guts sword) and i killed him on my second try. was i overleveled bc although it was a very close fight idk i felt like it shoulda taken me longer??
Using the Dark Moon Greatsword and I’m struggling, I can make phase 1 but phase completely destroys me
What are your stats? I'm level 110 with my weapon at +10 but still chipping at him
Honestly if they had just made his transition to second phase not bullshit with the Nihil chant and instead made it so that he heals some health on hit I think he’d be one of the better bosses in this game
any recommendations for what spirits to use this guys giving me a hard time
How is your video quality so good can you tell me settings of export or settings of recording plsssss
hmm pretty sure it's just h264 60fps 1920x1080. I would just look up how to setup OBS which is what I use to record my PC footage :)
Bro I first tried mohg on my first play through, black knife tiche is just way to op with the dot and dodging, you can get her through ranni quest line
