Aloha Foltsy! A little something special to show our appreciation of your awesome work on the channel, and hopefully brings a smile on your face that brightens up your day 😎
Got mine while being stationed in Germany this spring. Took them to Romania in my carry on as a contingency backup shoe for multiple use. No complaints.
@@AndrewFolts I use them for indoor Kettle Bell work as well. Since you can fold and twist them, they are right there with taking a good pair of sandals.
I ordered a pair of Flow’s and I really like them. They’re very comfy and versatile. I’m not sure about long term durability, but so far I’m really impressed with them.
@@AndrewFolts The wear pattern is mainly around the posterior lateral (outer sides) and forefoot, the threads are basically gone on those patches. A little upsetting as I only use the pairs for daily commutes, not much hiking/running
I have walked 325 miles in mine and there is still tons of life in them. I would certainly buy more. Lasting longer than any of the 8 pairs of Vivos I have gone through. Vivos are overpriced with very little quality control.

Hi, I have tried the primus lite trail fg II for EU size 42, 41 is too small and 43 is too big, idk if 42 fits. I didn't try the lono flow or primus lite, I don't know what size to choose, what should I do?
The Primus Trail is quite narrow and runs shorter compared to other Vivo's, so the Primus Trail Knit FG might work for you. ruclips.net/video/W4wikuqPHZ0/видео.html I found it to be a lot more comfortable vs the mesh version. The Lono Flow and Primus Lite are mostly road/gym shoes.
Hi, I have tried the lono flow but it is a bit narrow for my feet I guess because my pinky toes(the smallest toe;))feels a bit restricted and I cannot spread my toes in a comfortable way. I'm not sure am I too focused on spreading my toes as wide as I could so the barefoot shoes doesn't fit, or is it just I need an extra wide barefoot shoes. If so, what shoes you recommend for sprinting and maybe a bit of causal use?
The Flow runs true to size and usually you want a half to full thumbnail's space at the end. If you found the Flow too narrow, maybe check out the Natural Runner by Realfoot, which is extra-wide. bit.ly/47frhoe
Curious if these shoes are fairly quiet when walking on hard surfaces. I know this seems petty but I absolutely cannot stand how loud xero shoes are on the hospital floor where I work. It's like a nonstop slapping sound. I'm a light walker so, NO, it's not my walking. I have several pair of barefoot sneakers and xero brand, although they are incredibly durable and comfortable, drive me nuts with the slapping sounds. The sole of the shoes are just not quiet. Are lonoflows quieter?
Not as loud as Xero, but not as quiet as Vivobarefoot. The Asana ruclips.net/video/zS9okH355uE/видео.html, Primus Lite Knit ruclips.net/video/ydf1R2Z2KAY/видео.html, and Sensus ruclips.net/video/SopnAcG8Ppw/видео.html would all be great picks for being on your feet all day without any annoying sounds.
Most new brands will start out low to attract customers and then charge more after a year or two. If Lono had stayed at their initial price, they'd be out of business within another year or two. They're still half the price of Vivo's for a well performing shoe.

Definitely did! The world's first special edition "Foltsy" barefoot shoes. (:
So nice of lono to send you that custom flow.
"custom flow" has a nice ring to it!

Glad to hear they worked out well. The Flow does seem like a perfect travel shoe, being super light and comfy.

Yea, Lono did a great job. Props to them for focusing hard on one product versus spreading themselves thin too soon. Happy barefooting out there!
Are they all updated versions on their site now?
Now kind! These look a real contender to my Vivos when they wear out.
Who knows what other fancy features they'll install by that time...maybe a stowaway rain cover or FM radio? (:
The personal tag is adorable
Really is, they should have a custom tag option for everyone.
Ahh that is soo cool Foltsy
Maybe they'll make a special Foltsy edition, ha.
The original threads for me were the only downside really for the shoe,
Any particular parts that wore down faster, or just all around? Glad you enjoyed them otherwise, tho!

@@gbrlim Weird, well, hopefully they'll keep improving the strength of the weave with future updates.
Do you know what the name of that color is?
It's the Flow C Dusty, I believe. bit.ly/3AQhXwg
I've been tempted to buy it, but already have a vivo in the same style
Nice, sounds like you're covered for now. Maybe the Lono's will have rockets attached to them or something by the time your Vivo's wear out, ha!
I’ve just ordered mine yesterday, I wonder if it comes with the new version or the old version outsole
Should be the new tread, because that's what the product pics on the website show. Have fun out there!

That's awesome! What part of your Vivo's wore out, the glue or the tread, or something else? Primus Lite?

Vibram has a pretty high requirement in terms of quantity and brand popularity in order to use their sole, and trust me we tried 😩
