Inov8 Bare Xf has been my fave for 1-3 miles lately! I don't run longer than 3 in my BF shoes, though. There are better resources out there for that ask :)
Is Under armour Ua charged men’s bandit tr3 overall a good workout shoes ? For minimal running, squats , leg press , cycling and lunges I have ordered 3 shoes till now Drop set 2 quality was off And same for under armour reign 6 And after that I ordered Nike metcon 5 and the fit is not perfect around ankle .. I have returned these 3 now searching for other options
How does the forefoot/ball width compare to something like the Primus Lite III? It looks like that lacing system is less restrictive than the Primus so maybe it'll feel less tight. My Primus has two things against them, where the gussets is sown is very tight and the hard plastic stuff on the last lace restricts expansion making them dig into the ball of my foot. Plus, they are ultra-low volume, lol. You know, shoe fit is funny. Measuring my Xero 360's they are narrower at the forefoot than my Primus Lite III but they feel much wider. I think that comes down to how they are constructed and where they stretch etc. I don't hate my 360's but I think they are ugly... Someday I will find my Goldilocks barefoot training shoe, but it is like all of the wide ones are some weird lifestyle Robinhood looking shoe, lol.
This def has a more lax fit comparatively speaking due to the difference in materials and lacing structure. IMO, you’d likely find them to feel more spacious than the Primus and 360 It’s a fun process, but equally frustrating ngl. Every company uses lasts they want to market to and capture the most folks with so there’s so much plug and play 😅
@@thatfitfriend Thanks for always being so responsive and helpful. It is much appreciated. I think I'm going to have to get a pair. Yes, the process is fun and frustrating at the same time!
Is the fit similar to Vivo? I wear 40 in VBF and was curious if these fit the same. I ask because in normal training shoes (nano, metcon etc) I wear 9, but my vivos are 40 (7)
@@thatfitfriend i just got my pairs and the first thing i tried is thread the other lace in the middle slit (so the right and left laces cross in the middle slit). Problem solved . I hope you try it
didn't noticed your description part ...damn ... ;( the new layout sometimes shows the comment. wanted to help you by using the affiliated link. anyways i got a pair and i noticed 1 issue with it. it's slippery when the floor is wet. especially on tiles other than that, i don't have much issue and quite like the shoe so far
All good on that front! Ahh, yeah, that's something that most barefoot shoes will run into with their flatter sole constructions. It also can vary depending on the floor you're on: tile, subway platforms, wet concrete, etc.!
What other barefoot shoes do you wear/in what sizes? I always try to cut newer companies some slack with that. It's so expensive to build a full range of sizes out of the gate. I've looked into how much it costs and it's close to, if not north of six figures sometimes to build a mold/stock the sizes. Hopefully, they'll have them as they grow!
@@thatfitfriend The only barefoot I've ever liked are the Xero 360 in 10.5 US. I tried A LOT of the other Xero shoes too, none feel right. I've tried other barefoot brands too. I keep going back to the Xero 360s. My only complaint with the 360s are the looks. Also, I'm always wonder if there's something better out there. I should probably be content on what I have.

Jake is hands down the most legit shoe reviewer on RUclips.
Appreciate you, brother! 🤝

Thanks for checking it out! I'll buy some right now!
great review, dood!
Thank you, my friend!
Great review. So what do you recommend for long runs?

I love your reviews. Do you have any plans for Cloud x4 reviews?
Thank you! Already have them in the works

Hit me on Instagram, I'll send you a video comparing my Primus Lite IIIs to these!
ALWAYS check the size guide. Theirs is accurate. Don't just order random sizes because you think it will fit.
@@CptAngelKGaming best thing to do is aggregate sizing data from guides/comparisons 🤌
Have you tried pulling the laces to the other side so it’s in the middle?
Doesn't work and looks weird. The slits for the laces to run through are in the middle.

Is this company related to Lane Eight? Looks like a minimal version of AD Trainer.
Right? That was my first thought when I saw the lacing. Maybe they use the same manufacturer and their lacing system for that portion of the shoe.
What is that cool white flannel shirt he wears a lot? I think it’s the Born Primitive flannel but I’m not sure
I have some BP flannels, but the one I wear most often in vids is from Outdoor Research, it’s a light sun flannel. I also rock Rhône a lot!
Awesome thank you!

I just got 2 pairs but they're too narrow on the toes box for me
Upper volume restricting your feet?
@@thatfitfriend No, the toes box and the insole as well are narrow, my toes spread wider than them
I wear a 10.5 US. They don't do half sizes. I guess they don't want my money.

It's kind of weird that they do have 7.5 or 8.5, but no 8 size :(
