Oh God, this is so much better than almost all the BLs out there. You can accomplish a whole story of love in 22 minutes, softly and realistically, that most of the BLs I have seen cannot do in 8 to 12 episodes. And you do it with sincerity and sensitivity! I want more! Please do not stop. I actually CARE about Charlie and Gabriel.
This is just not true though lol, you've not been watching the right bls because this year and last year had some of the best produced bls released. In contrast, I actually found the pacing of this short film pretty bad... it was only 22mins but it felt awfully long because of how slow it is. But well I can understand a difference in taste.
I think this was a sweet short film, but I really can’t agree with it being better than most BLs. Like if you out this next to let’s say Ant Reset (aka, an amazing Taiwanese drama, probably one of the best dramas I’ve actually ever seen), they just aren’t even in the same league. Seriously incomparable. Even next to one of the simpler ones like Golden Blood or Cherry Magic, it’s just not the same. I still enjoyed this short film, I just can’t put it up there with most gay East Asian dramas.
But Gabriel never came clean with his own feelings. He asked for clarification, but never clarified or said what his own feelings were. And when Charlie said I love you - he didn't just not say I love you back - he said nothing!! I found the writing odd.
I was pleasantly surprised to see this sequel. This story was beautifully shot, and the unease of navigating a new relationship felt realistic. Happy for more of this story unfold.
Everyone within your company did such a fabulous job on this short film. Pure Vanilla was brought to life so much that I wanted to cry for Gabriel, shake Charlie and tell him to wake up and see Gabe's love for him and slap Alex and tell him to get out of their life. The emotions portrayed in this very much got to me; my congratulations to you all and please keep giving us more like this. Pure love from me here in USA!😍😍🤟
The only thing I regret is that this masterpiece has only 22 minutes! Everything is so perfect here and keeps our hearts so warm, I cannot express how happy I am watching this.

I understand Charlie is not good with people, but when Gabrel tells Charlie his concerns about all the time he is spending with Alex, and he does not listen and brushes it aside to me is disrespectful. I get Alex is a friend, but he is treating Gabriel like he does not care about him at all. Great short film, I think whoever made this nailed it! 👍
Alex recognized that Charlie seemed to be an introvert years back when he had a crush on Charlie who lived in a shell. This beautiful story show how Charlie started to come out of that shell and see the true love he had for Gabriel and Gabriel for him. I do not know if Gabriel knew of Charlie's Introverted side that tented to isolate himself from relationships. I wish I could see the initial segment of these two wonderful and loving characters. 250 Fils created the perfect cast and crew to create a concise and loving budding romance. You deserve all the praise and compliments from your faithful fans and viewers. Congratulations. Very happy to see these two guys again and the continuation of their story... I hope there will be a third part or at least I hope to see them again in another project. Enthusiastic about this series from the beginning, beautiful and intense stories can be told even in just a few minutes.
Wow! Great job on this short. The acting was well done. Deng (Charlie) created a very believable character. His shyness, hesitations, and uncertainty were palpable. The cinematography, editing, sound stage, and directing were were well done. I don't know the experience level of the actors and crew, but it came across very professional. The acting is absolutely so polished and professional, miles above the usual, boring BL, that I was (as a psych) responding emotionally in a way so unusual, so tenderly, despite Gabe's very beautifully crafted masculine jock image, he acted so counterintuitively so that his intonation had a penetrating dimension that one could not hold off responding. The tension between Gabe's created image, and his personal persona, synergies his effect. Casting Charlie. avoiding a well sculptured, Asian hung/beauty, made the emotional impact of Gabe's feelings so much more tender. The delicacy of the flavours, well I could smell the vanilla...
I didn't realize there was going to be a sequel, this just made my day! Just like the first one, I adored this so much! Everyone did a fantastic job! Thank you for blessing me with this amazing sequel 😊 I loved this so much, they are so sweet together 🥰 I loved all the food/recipe analogies, they were so fitting and added to the charm of this short film. I also really loved the healthy communication between all of them, it was so refreshing compared to most series lol.

I've watched too many Asian bl series that this short surprised me in an unusual way. What I mean is that I'm used to hearing Korean, Chinese, Thai, VN and Japanese speaking their language and rarely English got mixed in the conversation which I'm okay with. Of course I relied on English subtitles to understand. Only when I'm desperate I'll watch the program RAW, and re-watch when the caption is shown that it's been translated. Hearing Charlie, Gabe and Alex's English, it makes me feel like I'm watching an occidental short film. Though the actors are of Asian descent with Asian accent, this still lacks some kind of oriental demeanor. P.S. Btw, I do enjoy this well made short very much, and thank you for posting and sharing. 🫰
