Luv it! An ode to Tina Belcher decades before the character even existed! "Like a kid in a toy shop - she can't stop She wants all the boys She's got hearts in her eyes..."
Everyone of the songs the searchers did were superb. This is what you call Damn Rock n Roll music. I am 72 and I have been listening to these guys since 1964.
I got the album from a used record store in mint condition and sounded great on my direct drive turntable. I like Switch Board Susan too but always a Searchers fan from the British Invasion of 64. Glad they won this one. 😎
Er heard this song before till today when our son told me to play it, nice guitars and and voiced. We are going to see the searcher's on 14 th June next Wednesday,we are looking forward to it,I'm 76 and my son is 51,can't wait

Staying rocking, man!
POWER POP at its best
This should have got in the charts back in the early eighties.

Brilliant Song from the best Group to come out of Liverpool x
I've loved the Searchers since I was ten years old and the Records since I was 27. A great combination and a great song!
no one on earth can make d a and g sound as good as this
Maybe The Records could? ...sorry for being a wisea$$.
Get a Vox amp and add chorus and a 12-string and you can do it too! LOL
Haven't heard this in about 40 years. Used to hear it on WNEW in NYC. Also remember The Records version.
Just fabulous!
Hell of a good song. I saw the Searchers in 2011. Great song and a great concert.
