Jungeun actually trained as a main dancer. I think they pushed her as a main vocalist to fuel the rivarly between her and Jiyoon and because she is one of the few contestants who sings well with a higher range.
i vote jiyoon and gyuri everyday i want them to make it so bad…like i really didnt expect to love gyuri so much and i didnt want her to make it in the beginning at all but my god shes just overflowing with potential and shes so lovable im gonna be absolutely devastated to see her go😢

Yes, probably :/ She‘s so talented and you could see how much she cared for the others. I also didn’t like what she said about Mai in the first mission of part 2. Just to say this. In I-Land 1, We can see people like Heeseung, K, Sunghoon being the Jeemin, Koko and Saebi in this season. But, what I like about first season is, apart focusing on the centers... We also can see Sunoo suddenly raised in the ranking and in front of producers eyes. We saw Jake the king of growth. We saw Jay finally got his same amount of being center and leader at one point. We saw Jungwon also being in the producer's watch. We also saw Ni-Ki be the person Producer and Viewers look up too despite of being evil-edited. But I-land 2, I have noticed that we only watching a show of Saebi, Jeemin and Koko ft Jiyoon to spice thing up. 😅 Thanks to my queen Jiyoon I actually enjoyed the show.
Gyuri honestly is so mature and basically carried the mental health of the otber girls on her shoulders the entire season. I really want Jiyoon, Fuko, and Gyuri to debut together. They have been together since the beginning and I want them to shine. I felt bad that Gyuri felt like she was being selfish because honestly, the show and editors have been avoiding letting her shine and I wanted her to be selfish to prove her talent. Esp. since Jeemin is clearly safe from fanbase votes so she didn't need to focus on getting attention My dream lineup is: Jiyoon, Fuko, Koko, Saebi, Jungeun, Yuju/Gyuri (if we get a 7th member both, if not I would rather Yuju so we have 2 rappers)
I like how you said you didn’t wanna place Gyuri in the concept because she’s so young but then you put Saebi on the screen…Saebi is only like a 6 or 7 months older then Gyuri🤣

If the theory that there’s going to be a bonus member happens, based on the semi final, I think we’re looking at JeeMin, JungEun, JiYoon, SaeBi, Koko and Fuko with YuJu being the surprise pick. SaRang feels like she’s going to get snubbed and GyuRi and Mai just don’t have enough gas in the tank to outpace the competition.

For the Latata performance you are spot on they all had very distinctive voice like G-IDLE & also Jungeun showed why she is No.1 from the beginning. I think Sujung sounded out breath & tone, koko's pronunciation needs a bit of improvement whereas Juwon sounded little bit pitchy. But overall it was a great performance. JUNGEUN & YUJU were the best among the Latata Unit. As for Into the New world Unit idk what to say it was missing something. I felt like they were just doing what was needed to do individually. FUKO was the best among the Unit. Overall final lineup needs to be Jeemin-Jungeun-Jiyoon-Fuko-Koko-Saebi. If a producer pick happens I hope it would be Yuju cause we have a strong vocal line and need an absolute powerhouse rap duo Koko-Yuju. We have Koko,Jungeun,Jeemin,Saebi for the dance line as some of them are best for Idol dancing & some for street style.
i think just like jungeun and jiyoon make a great vocal duo i think jeemin and saebi make a great center duo. and i think yuju and koko make a great rap duo. i think these duos complement eachother so well so thats why these girls are my top 6
I feel like part of the reason this has felt so long is because the performances/storylines in ep 8+9 felt very repetitive. I mean, obviously there’s Fuko, Gyuri, and Sarang doing the exact same concept in a slightly different font, then there was the Money team basically being the I’m The Best team + Saebi and the “main character” Jeemin (who was also the mc in the la vie en rose performance), and then Koko vs Yuju which we also had in Lovesick Girls. The only thing that felt different from ep 8 was the finale of the dragged out drama between Jiyoon and Jungeun, but ofc that had been going on for even longer. Before episode 8 we had the break week, so everything in part 2 has just felt recycled with these past 2 episodes, especially with the producers choosing the same exact groups every performance.
Black mamba was also performed in "My teenage girl"! It was a great performance and they won the Battle (my picks were on that group) I encourage you to watch MTG❤❤
I remember seeing one comment that said the final lineup would be 1 audience pick and 5 producer pick so I'm not sure if they were right but we'll have to wait and see
I love to see another Mai biased so I'm not alone because it's hard to keep hope 😭 honestly it's just so hard to look at all the girls and think of 4 I don't think need to be in the group because they're all so talented. Like some I can give reason like Gyuri being too young, Sarang making mistakes or even my own one pick mai being good but not excellent in something (except facial expressions I'm sorry she's still one of the best for that but it's not a skill they evaluate) I'm just heart broken we're getting such a small group

My one pick has been the same since episode 1: Koko. I think she’s proven her dance abilities time and time again, but what really captured me the first episode was her ability to control her voice, which I think is a great ability for a rapper to have. She has a really unique style, which I get isn’t for everyone, but I love stylized rappers in kpop. I’ve heard she only had 5 months of actual training, but I think the vocal/rap ability she has shows how quickly she can grow. I’m always captivated by her when she’s on stage. Also her relationships with the other contestants >>>. She just seems like a happy virus to have around. I also voted Fuko once because I love her too, but now that Koko’s placement has been shown I don’t think I’ll vote anyone else because I really want her to debut and I don’t think her one pick is as strong as others.
I'm supporting Koko. Since both Sujung and Juwon are out of the show, she is the reasonable choice for main dancer (plus she has such a great chemistry with the other girls). I really need her to debut, she is amazing, and in my opinion, she has shown a lot of growth in short periods of time
Shuhua herself asked for less lines since debut, idk why fans have been going crazy about it… Yuju’s tone when she sang was 🔥 that’s what she needs to do more of, show youthfulness

There was 4 Walls, Money, Bad Boy, and then the options for this round was Bad Girl Good Girl, Attention, Eleven and Fearless. There was an interim ranking, and it showed that Jeemin is 2nd and Koko is 8th.
