- A further beautiful song by the gaucho-brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa. The song is inspired by the story of a healer who rides a white horse spreading healing through the villages.
The chords and rythm of this piece originate from the deep bond that Yamandu Costa keeps with the roots and the culture of the interior of Brazil. This reminds me very much the novels of JEORGE AMADO who represents the truer expression of Brazilian identity and culture.
Some lyrics of the song that Yamandu Costa is used to sing in the last part of the piece :

Thanks a lot for listening and watching . I appreciate your feedback very much. Actually it’s a pity that Costa doesn’t put in writing his score as the other composers do. I understand he is more a jazz man …. But most part of his music are so beautiful that need to be shared with the rest of the world … I know that his wife Elodie Bouny sometimes put his music in writing and sometimes Marco Pereira does it as well. Hi Keith, actually they are brand new fingers , I found them out at a VINTAGE HUMAN SPARE PARTS provider and I just bought eight of them... ( left thumb and right fourth finger are still the old ones) . They are fingers of german quality supposed to have a long operation life , I hope to go ahead and play a little bit longer :-))))))

Claudio, thank you so much for posting your beautiful interpretation and arrangement of Sarara. I have been obsessed with this song and it has been essentially my favorite song over the past 2 yesrs. I have tried to find notation or tablature for it but have had no luck. What are the chances that you might post tablature or notation or create a link to a pdf? That would be so awesome and I would very much appreciate it. Thank you. Scott
it's been another 2 years, lol. maybe try transcribing it. i mean, ive never done this myself, but you could probably open it in audacity, I think it can show the spectral analysis and slow it down.

With Yamandu it is always a surprise! I recently bought Habanera and Bem Vindo and want to give it a try soon. You should also check out some works by Garoto, another genius, I even has one of his pieces recorded in my channel :)
