Doing marketing without a plan isn’t much better than gambling and is one of the best ways to lose a lot of money quickly.
Which is why in this episode I’m going to be breaking down 5 key components you need to think about in order to create a bulletproof marketing plan that helps you generate more leads, customers, and sales.
Look, I get it, marketing plans are boring. Which is why I’m not going to ask you to create a 500 page document that’s outdated the minute you press print.
Instead, I’m going to give you 5 things to think about that you can jot down on a piece of paper anytime you want to launch a new business, product, or service.
I’ve done marketing both ways. With a plan and without a plan, and probably not surprisingly when I had a plan things went a whole heck of a lot better.

I'm studying Marketing right now and my teachers are so old school and, for example, literally think that just using hashtags is enough to go insanely viral on social media. So finding your channel and getting some different viewpoints on marketing methods to take into consideration, really helps me study. But literally, I know so much more than my teachers and I'm seriously considering dropping out and going freelance lol.

Case Study:
You are the Marketing strategist for a start-up based on Renewable Energy. And right now your BD team has:
3 SDR's are responsible for creating 600 leads per month through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach and Inbound methods like ads, webinars and training.
2 MDR's are responsible for planning all the Inbound activities and qualifying the Leads from the SDR as a prospect.
3 Senior officers are responsible for converting the prospects to deals and winning them.
By the funnel formation of SDR -> MDR -> Senior officers. The numbers are 600 -> 240 -> 144, that is out of 600 Leads from SDRs, the team is winning 240 customers per month.
Analyse the present activities. Give a short report on what you understand from the process. And come up with an idea to improve any part of the process or with an entirely new idea for Business Development.
You can select any field based on the Renewable sector, mention the sector in your report and present the points you have gathered based on the field like the policy, scope and industrial view.
