I sang this with my choir on a tour in Europe. There were some churches where it was too echoey to sing it at this tempo but it was by far one of my favorite pieces to sing literally everywhere ❤️
0:56 - absolutely sublime. It is is almost as though the music is hit by the "heavenly light" ("sende Dein Licht") and bursts into harmony. I know of no other composer who manages to rouse as many emotions as Mendelssohn does.

Sang this last weekend in a combined chorus consisting of two of Canada's finest amateur choirs. It was absolutely glorious!
i sang this my junior year in high school, and we took this at a faster tempo, and it was beautiful.

如月伸太郎 Nコン東北大会をテレビでみましたが、異次元でしたね。結果は残念でしたが本当に素晴らしかったです。現地で聴いたとは羨ましい限りです。現地ってコンクールの会場ということですよね？
断食エフェクト江口 全日本合唱コンクールの東北支部大会で聞いておりました。
Nコンの課題点であった言葉の発音をしっかりと修正し見事全国大会への切符を手にしていました。
如月伸太郎 全日本だとズバ抜けた評価を得ているだけに、二中も含めてNコンは残念に思えます。だからこその合唱を聴く楽しさもあるんでしょうけどね。まぁ静かに見守って応援することにします笑
