Do you think it would handle an 11ft wide 1,500 lb flail mower on 2 to 1 slopes equipped with much wider tires for sideways stability?

How much did you sell it for? This is what I’m looking for.

Did you know Yanmar makes a YT4 and YT5 series that is not imported to the USA or Europe? I was supposed to be but I don't know why it was not. Those tractors go up to 113 hp. Would one of them fit you use? Also, would a front 3-point lift and PTO help you? The loader capacity is also higher.

Yes they are bigger. They won’t import to USA because of all the other major brands like John Deere, Kubota. Hold the market. That’s what Yanmar has told me.

@@hayworthfarmandadventures I am back to looking at the YT359 for a sweet corn patch. It will fit it well. I have been thinking about developing a set of fields for rotating sweet corn. I thought about putting alfalfa as a income generating cover crop. However, I had concerns about the tractor size even before thinking about your video. I am curious to know if you replace it with something or you already had a bigger tractor? Also, how many acres do you have in hay?

@@MattTCfarm I replaced it with an older Massey Ferguson that weighs more and has a longer wheel base. I do 60 acres of hay on my place plus custom hay jobs for other people.

@@hayworthfarmandadventures Thank you for the replies. I got a quote today that includes some large discounts. I have been told the motor model can produce much more power than the rating on the tractor however I cannot find an example of anyone putting the tractor on a dyno. I have wondered is adding a large amount of weight to the tractor would help it pull a small square baler with a bale kicker and catch wagon. From what you have said I am less certain. I am a long way from having to sort that out. Since the primary use will be for sweet corn I have a tractor to test with a baler before buying one. Thank you for the information.
