The calculation of the buy average price follows the First In, First Out (FIFO) method, where the shares that were bought first are deemed to be sold first from the account.
The shares which are bought and sold on same day are considered as intraday transactions and would get knocked off against each other.
I was doubtful of this average formula but never had time to calculate. I had to incur loss of more than 12 k due to this. Guys...go for zerodha or any other broker instead of groww.

absolutely yes, this is not a groww app, this is money drawnn app, i also had a same experience like Arun Kumar, if we rise ticket in groww app, no one answer properly, we should contact technical groww app team, there is a big concern with this app, waste of money and time.
