It's so sad to see my favourite loco in such a state. Do you know how long she'll be there for as I would love to go and see her while she's out the siding?
Working with very little undercover storage, and an overhaul queue to work through, the Watercress have done their best to keep the loco protected - but there's only so much that can be done in the circumstances. Personally, I have no idea - just got lucky today.
I was largely being sarcastic. The owning group don't want any film/photos published before the loco is publicly unveiled, despite it being sat in full public view "as obvious as the grass is green".
Hopefully when 34105 Swanage enters traffic Wadebridge will go in for overhaul
Ah, she’s looking so unloved now. Would love to see her back up and running again. 😍
All in good time, I'm sure.
So sad to see her like that. I recall seeing this beautiful engine operating on this line many years ago. Hope they give her some tlc.
Currently under overhaul, under contract with Riley
for a long time, this one was on the Bodmin and Wenford which would seem like the most appropriate place for it.
Doesn't fit in the platform head-shunt at Bodmin General.
Should have known that an inferior WR station would not be up to accommodating a proper locomotive.
I was wondering where wadebridge had disappeared off too. I just assumed that it was at alsford or in pieces!

4:38 My watchful eye spotted a particular locomotive in steam which I shall not say as i'd rather the surprise not be ruined further ;)
Yes, you mustn't ruin the surprise, that's about as obvious as the grass is green.
You've got me excited at the sight of those lovely arced windows. It won't be long now before we get to run behind that beauty of an engine.
@@TheSouthernerYTChannel Okay then, I was just messing around...

Withdrawn for overhaul. She's in safe hands.
