yeosang has said he’s not that comfortable with singing all that much yet. i’m sure in the future he’ll get more lines. i don’t think it’s a matter of the song producers/writers not giving him parts i think they know he wants smaller parts.

Okay I'm a huge ARMY and I'm not an ATEEZ stan, but I can still appreciate how good this cover was! It was not only a good performance, but a really great cover of ON with their own twist on it and for all the "ARMYS" in the comments hating on ATEEZ: get a grip. I’ve heard stray kids cover Dionysus and they smashed it also not forgetting txt cover BTS songs very well but that’s to be expected being in the same company but as a multi stand of ATEEZ, stray kids , BTS and txt ATEEZ is so underrated in my option their talent and performance skills are well beyond their years of being debuted I really wish in the future they’ll be as successful and they deserve to be!

I was legitimately so confused when the camera man kept focusing on other members during Seonghwa's parts, but after checking Twitter, I realized that that's a backup dancer in place of Seonghwa who has a hip injury! So, Ddeonghwa and Jongho, Atinys hope for a speedy recovery because we don't like it when you're hurt!
There are already rookies covering them and I can't be any more proud & it seems to me that so far, Atinys share the same sentiment. Hopefully it won't change as the fandom grows bigger and more toxic stans get in!

I am a really impulsive person, so I just blamed armys for being too arrogant and looking down on a younger group... But honestly some of the comments really broke my heart. They directly said things like 'acting like bts doesn't make you bts, you are just copycats' or 'can't you guys do things of your own without trying to copy a famous group'. I don't get how someone could even begin to compare BTS and ATEEZ. They are very different groups with very, VERY different music style. I mean, have those saying that, even heard ATEEZ' music? I've heard most of both BTS and ATEEZ' music and let me tell you, you can't compare it. If you really want to compare ATEEZ to another group, it would be STRAY KIDS. These two groups are both very unique and stand out from other groups, music and style. They're adding something, completely new to kpop, 2nd style 😉 And I for one, am loving it ☺️

I'm not multi and only stanning BTS. Came here after a group cover didn't do BTS justice. I'm hard to please but I dont mind this cover at all, its good. And answer kinda good as well, immediately adding them to my playlist. Good job ATEEZ!
Also, probably not a big thing but it kinda makes me emotional that they give a crate box for Jongho to sit on and put more boxes around as if they are stage props and Jongho is like the king sitting on boxes of supplies that he claimed from his enemies, instead of just giving him a chair that make him look like he's 'out' from the stage. As someone who's Jongho-biased it hurts me to see him with his current condition so I'm really happy that the show's staff actually put more effort in making him look more 'included' in the performance :')

not an Ateez fan, but whenever they do a BTS cover, I just know that they'll kill it... they perform it with their own twist but they still manage to capture the same energy that as the original song which makes it extremely refreshing to listen to. Ateez is the only other group aside from TXT that I've seen and feel put out such great BTS song covers. P.S. this is just my own personal opinion

Can we just appreciate the choreography?! Like, the boys are always amazing, but they were down two members (JH and SH both being hurt). They still killed it, and the backup dancer that took SH part in the ANSWER choreo did AMAZING!
Thing is, they didn't dance and sing exactly like BTS, but they didn't had to, that's not the point of the covers they do here. The purpose of the covers here is that the groups choose a song and get to reinterpret it in their own way, say for example how SKZ covered 'Fancy'. They didn't make it comical by being overly girly, just youthful and fun, which they as a young boy group essentially are. Similarly ATEEZ took a song and made it theirs - I can see so much of their signature style bleeding through in the dance and in the way they sang... and I think it fits them PERFECTLY!!!

One who only sing in the side (foot injury) Mingi who is the deep rapper, he didnt dance in ON chorus because of back injury. and lastly Seongwha who is in the backstage and can't perform because of hips injury. I don't know about other people but the reason I started stanning them and the reason I find them different from others is their energy basically, the types of songs they have, like say my name, hala hala and others.... Those are what made me stan them cuz their energy is on a whole new level, specially when they perform on stage (I started stanning two weeks back and I still can't believe they are rookies, I totally deny to accept that fact)

As a army, Ateez performing a cover of a Bts song is very admirable and shows how far Bts has reached. And I would say this is one of the best covers on "On" because of the unique style and twist they used(which was fun to dance too XD). At the end of the day, Ateez covered a song by Bts and they did it amazingly! STAN BTS AND ATEEZ!

I am a really impulsive person, so I just blamed armys for being too arrogant and looking down on a younger group... But honestly some of the comments really broke my heart. They directly said things like 'acting like bts doesn't make you bts, you are just copycats' or 'can't you guys do things of your own without trying to copy a famous group'. For a long time I have seen army as a rude fandom. Though not everyone but a part of it is so immature that they don't want another group to grow. They target both younger and experienced groups. When exo's D. O released his song roses I saw an army in the comment section saying dynamite crossed 1.2 billion views and that BTS is way better. These people always say negative things about groups that have just debuted or are being recognised for their talent. Ateez just became their target because they stood out. I know I shouldn't have blamed the whole fandom (which actually includes me too, lol) because of certain people.

not an Ateez fan, but whenever they do a BTS cover, I just know that they'll kill it... they perform it with their own twist but they still manage to capture the same energy that as the original song which makes it extremely refreshing to listen to. Ateez is the only other group aside from TXT that I've seen and feel put out such great BTS song covers.
P.S. this is just my own personal opinion

Can we just appreciate the choreography?! Like, the boys are always amazing, but they were down two members (JH and SH both being hurt). They still killed it, and the backup dancer that took SH part in the ANSWER choreo did AMAZING!
Thing is, they didn't dance and sing exactly like BTS, but they didn't had to, that's not the point of the covers they do here.
The purpose of the covers here is that the groups choose a song and get to reinterpret it in their own way, say for example how SKZ covered 'Fancy'. They didn't make it comical by being overly girly, just youthful and fun, which they as a young boy group essentially are.
Similarly ATEEZ took a song and made it theirs - I can see so much of their signature style bleeding through in the dance and in the way they sang... and I think it fits them PERFECTLY!!!

I don't know about other people but the reason I started stanning them and the reason I find them different from others is their energy basically, the types of songs they have, like say my name, hala hala and others.... Those are what made me stan them cuz their energy is on a whole new level, specially when they perform on stage (I started stanning two weeks back and I still can't believe they are rookies, I totally deny to accept that fact)

On behalf of the people that are hating them because they are “army” and they did a bts cover, I apologize. That’s not how most of us are. As myself being an army and atiny I love this cover so much. Ateez never fails to put so much work into their performances and they always add the perfect touch of Ateez while doing covers. I just watched their Boy in Luv cover and this, they are amazing, probably the best group in covering BTS’s songs. They turned the song into their own but still has the original vibes and their vocal is great too.

As a army, Ateez performing a cover of a Bts song is very admirable and shows how far Bts has reached. And I would say this is one of the best covers on "On" because of the unique style and twist they used(which was fun to dance too XD). At the end of the day, Ateez covered a song by Bts and they did it amazingly! STAN BTS AND ATEEZ!
