So, I went to Sephora yesterday and bought Invictus Victory. But after watching your video, I returned it to Sephora and bought the Elexir from Macys. I V Elexir is a masterpiece.
It smells really similar to Le Beau Le Parfum. I won't say which one is better, but they are similar. I have Le Beau Le Parfum so when I tried this one I even gave up buying it. But it's really good!

Soo i own Invictus victory i think it's a solid spray but Invictus Elixir is defo alot better. That said u was talking about Jean Paul Le Beau. Naa Jean Paul Gaultier Elixir in my opinion is the king of sprays this year 2023. Defo drops pants and makes the rose water 👀🤣. That said u should definitely do an elixir battle between Invincible & JPG Elixir.

I bought the Victory based only on the opening, but the dry down disappointed me. It reminded me of the Axe Dark temptation I used to wear when I was younger. I'm 46 now and it's simply not for me. I gave it away to my 11 yr old nephew and he seems to enjoy it a lot .
That is exactly the description i gave my friend! I said is it me or it smells like the chocolate axe 😂

I like Victory and have a bottle, i thought the Elixir was horrible, the coconut vibe that it has which is on so many fragrances of recent years is not nice at all to me.

It started to become more and more common after JPG released Le Beau and its Le Parfum flanker. Even Phantom has it, though I personally don't like how diabetes level of sweet Phantom is, I like how the original Victory is sweet but has character to it, and a bit of Axe Chocolate which reminds me of my highschool/early college days lmao.
It's honestly good for what it is, Elixir is just waaaaaay too sweet like Phantom.
Like the original Victory, better than Elixer. But Platinum is the best! Sooo good and lasts a long long time.

In my humble opinion..i don't see the point of flanker fragrances...why not just make a different scent altogether? My experience with flankers are that they have the same DNA and virtually smell the same! Maybe im wrong ...but i find all the flanks confusing when shopping for a new scent.🤔
Risk. Flanker’s limit risk by leveraging existing brand recognition. Developing a new line worldwide costs millions and usually take 18 months of blanket or costly high visibility campaigns. That’s why I find it remarkable when a label chooses to release a new line rather than tie to existing ip. In todays economy?

This is like JPG Le Male Le parfum the le parfum os much smoother than the Elixir the invictus victory is more rough while the Elixir is more smooth
I know you weren’t super impressed with your first impression of the Elixir but I knew you’d end up loving it the more you tried it. I don’t usually get compliments on fragrances and this one got me 4 by strangers in the most intense ways, on my first 2 days of wearing it. People riding bikes and stopping to ask me what it was, also an Uber driver asked me 7 hours after application what I was wearing because it filled their entire car and they were obsessed! The others were just as wild too. One of the most beastly scents I own. I love it. I didn’t notice how strong it was tbh, but it’s a room filler, this is either on par or even stronger than Initio side effect which is also a beastly going out scent

All i get with the IV Elixir is a coconut oil. So if you like sniffing the jar of coconut oil, it's going to be your new favorite frag. The IV EDP is a mix of "CH Bad Boy" and "Armani Code".

It's weird because I thought Elixir was a bit more fresh and inoffensive than the original.
It's a great scent, but I think it's less "agressive" if that makes sense. More gentle. Less "all in on vanilla" (though it's still present). And definitely more heat friendly than Victory (imo).
I own both and I absolutely love them. Though I can see why owning both could be a bit redundant.
