i would like it where like certain games and things causes story’s like a receiver is going back and forth with a corner and it starts a a player rivalry and it gets put in like the news paper or espn or somthing
The game has always had the detail with stadiums and Jersey etc I'm more concern about gameplay because NCAA was always faster and was good to me. I just hope the game play is more realistic with playcalling an clock management
Well I mean everyone wants that everyone is hoping that’s how the game is gonna go but the realism and the jerseys are a big part in it too so it works both ways because even in madden and 2k you would want free agency to match how it is in real life and you would want your favorite teams jerseys to look good
@@SCDevil59 my point was if you played the game before they already had the stadiums all the jerseys and teams could transfer to you. You just couldn’t try get transfer but what's the problem with Madden the game AI is terrible if the game looks good an play it’s terrible. It’s a madden reskin I hope it's not
I totally agree on being worried about gameplay and not on graphics or details. I know detail will be great but I wonder if EA will include all-time series records between teams
I also think the reason why they waited until 2024 to release the game is because if you look at it 2021 season went so slow compared to 2022 & 2023 seasons.
What worries me - is the last time we bought this 2014 - there wasn’t updates every other day like in madden nowadays.. I feel like now , it will be messed with A TON .
i just want recruiting to be more balanced and realistic...no more 5 star WRs n ATHs up the ass and hardly no good defensive recruits...seems like it was all about the offensive side of the game for recruits in ncaa 14...college football is all about the recruits and recruiting...plus i also want to see the players progress during the season like in madden...sucks that you had to wait til the offseason to see how much your players progressed and improved
I want big home games to be uplifting and big away games to be crushing. I want my 95 overall LSU team to feel overwhelmed and desperate against an 88 overall Florida playing in the swamp.
Agree to disagree, but marching bands and mascots is the college football attention to detail in my opinion. I really hope EA puts a lot of attention to the marching bands from an atmosphere and presentation aspect.

We, as the ea college football community, should do a community survey in September or October independent of EA Sports. Allow it to be open to everyone who's played the game. I think this community should get ahead of ea sports to prevent them from trying to milk the consumer base with annual releases that aren't addressing what the majority wants. I think major graphic tweaks can be put on the shelf after this release because we see how amazing these sports games look in 2024, there's no need for time and energy wasted on that any longer unless the game looks like complete trash. But the little things like graphic reskins to match espn or uniforms or stadium artwork can be done thru an updated version like the revamp team does. I think we should grade everything. And the biggest thing to me would be expectations for an annual release. I actually like how the revamp team just releases versions and we know the community would pay those guys if they allowed us to. So the annual release could just be for incoming freshmen, and general player movement from transfers. Add in the coaches as well. That can just be a dlc package as well as new formations if need be. But they shouldn't wait to next year to sell the actual award trophies as a reason to run out and buy another $70 game. That can be done with dlc. So the survey would look like -Reason for survey and the intended purposes to use the information... -Gemeplay general -Gameplay offense -Gameplay passing -Gameplay rushing -Gameplay blocking -Gameplay catching -Gameplay defense -Gameplay tackling -Gameplay turnovers -Gameplay kicking -etc... -How many hours have you played the game I think a carefully detailed independent survey can put the consumer base in the driver's seat of where this game will go. I hope the Road to Glory mode lets you carry your player into the draft on Madden this time around. A storyline to it would be nice but you're right. The ability to skip cut scenes is definitely needed.
My concerns: Pursuit angles,User strip fumbles, CBs and Linebackers zone properties, tackling, Glitch jukes, QB play and defending Scrambling QBs, Pass breakups (play ball, play through the receiver hands, diving, swatting), X-factor abilities (they need to abolish them), balanced, 50/50 balls, Fumble recover, punt and kick return coverage ( ties into the pursuit angles, CPU decision making, and last but CERTAINLY not least, BLOCKING
I forgot if it was NCAA 11 or 12 but the my had a lot of detail in scouting and for ppl that’s doing rebuild it can get very tedious during recruitment/ scouting hopefully they’ll do it like the older ncaa games just a little watered down
Yeah i agree, the pre determined storylines in mycareer and face of the franchise are just a waste of time. I like how road to glory was in 14 and they can still make improvements from that.
You know what i miss besides recruiting in this game The Classic game ratings obviously, but the difference in say a mid-major program having home field advantage & a home game Tuscaloosa or Columbus & they are top 5, that stadium was rocking
When it comes to visiting recruits. Maybe it could be like fifa when you meet with a player and agent when signing them you negotiate all their contract details. Something similar could definitely happen.
The most important aspect to me is more recruiting options. I want to be able to steal recruits from other teams. I want to have NIL deals to players. I want to have way more visit options and more getting to know the recruits. Actual back and forth interactions with what they want that would help your chances at landing them. Package deals with recruits from the same high school. Also better head coaching options I want to be able to hire my assistants and handle their contracts as well as get to know them better also.
I agreed with you except on the cutscenes and story part. I wish they would come up with a story line where what you do and the decisions you make influence what happens next and how the story plays out and ends. I don’t want a predictable predetermined story but an interesting interactive one where I have to put in the work and effort to get the ending I want just like in like “until dawn” (best example I could think of quickly) there’s like 50+ ways that game can play out and end that’s what I’d like to see in road to glory. I don’t mind the cutscenes as long as they are 5 mins or less it gives me a chances to enjoy the graphics and the story , it gives a layer of immersion to the story, and if anything else it gives you chance to go pee or get a snack. Just my thoughts
I would get the game regardless of the real players, but I am excited to play with the guys from my area that I’ve followed since they were in high school. And for me, Road Glory was my favorite game mode. I never played a lot of ultimate team or dynasty.
Don't get your hopes up too high, expecting soo much.EA is not gonna put everything in one installment. When have they ever? EA wants to continue to get our money year after year.
Yo All 4 years of High School would be crazy. Think about it build up hype for you guy, Hell even on the other side be just ok and have to play for a lower school and then dip to a big school.
I personally like the cut scene i hope they put in there but for people that don’t like it there should be a option to skip it if u want i hope they bring mascot mode back :) i love that mode!!!
I’m glad they are making it realistic, however, I would like it to be customizable because I feel like it might get hard to complete a dynasty when you are having to do so much recruiting. Sometimes I just like putting up points and focus on playing games without having to worry about getting the best of the best players. Plus it might be hard to rebuild a team if they don’t have NIL money and that takes some excitement out for me because I love starting at a small school and ending up at an Alabama, Georgia, Ohio state, etc. Don’t get me wrong I love the detail and making it more realistic and I’ll enjoy the heavy recruiting, but I just love customization in video games so I can change my experience for each file.
If you just play with it on the easiest or 2nd easiest difficulty I'm sure you'll be able to breeze thru opponents regardless of how many 5 star players you have.
Can we get something like The Yard but instead of 3v3, maybe 5v5 ? And more realistic customization like knee pads above knees, hanging mouthpiece, better sock customization. I’m a DB in real life so this is very important to me lol
i herd it's being worked on but not a for sure thing yet ,were either getting in a update down the road or it might be in 26 . i'm the the same way i really hope we can do it in this game
I want tougher ai gameplay. I want recruiting to be harder. I want playing in my dynasty against the computer to be very competitive and challenging. After your program becomes powerhouse you win every game and get every recruit. I don’t want Bama or Ohio State or any other power house to digress so bad that their cupcakes they should always be competitive. I want to still be able to be beaten and have to grind out wins in my dynasty.
With Road to Glory, like you said , I don’t want anything predetermined. I want my actions and play to determine how the story plays out. Real decisions! Even down to one of the decisions “be social: head to on campus party” and maybe coach finds out you guys got into a fight and suspended you for the 1st quarter/half. Or academics play a role of sorts as well. Bring back the “if it’s in the game, it’s IN the game” element. Let there be different cut scenes. Show the progression in the dorms. And maybe turnover celebrations as well
The thing that worries me is scouting and recruiting. I hate the new Madden scouting system. I really hope it's not copy and paste.... bring back the recruiting and scouting from the old versions. I want to do it, not just have a scouting simulator.
If they dont nail the recruiting in dynasty or the Road to Glory mode it will be a complete failure. As for the real players, we already had that in NCAA 14. Just download premade rosters from other users or manually grind and edit the rosters yourself. Thats what made the whole lawsuit to stupid tp begin with. As fans, we found a way to download rosters made by others. Not all heroes where capes
I am ok with the story as long as i am driving it. Dont have such a 1 size fits all with the story and honestly just let us be the player have the interviews have the classes and test and ability to fail and not be able to play that week
College basketball 2k7 had the best recruiting system ever. You could start scouting players and send letters as sophomores or freshmen in high school, forget exactlywhere it started. Then each year the recruiting got more in depth adding phone calls and emails. Then the senior year you can do in home visits and attend their games and have on campus. And you never got players handed to you, if you didn't recruit with effort they'd commit to somewhere else. I think they capped it at 15 recruits but it's basketball so you only needed 3 to 5 seniors each season. And your assistant coaches shared the responsibilities with the head coach. Some assistants were better at recruiting while some were better at teaching. There were also ju-co players to recruit. In the off-season you could go to basketball camps and play about 3 or 4 games with the high school senior class. But usually only 1 of your recruits would be on each team so you had to choose who you really wanted to get to know as a player, shooting style, athleticism, quickness. But if you just wanted to skip those games you could and just get the box scores. I always wished ea could put at least half of that if not all in the college football games. After that you would replace assistants you lost, and you got to manually choose who to hire based on what you needed from a coach.
You know what? It doesn't matter how truly good the game is. You guys will complain regardless if it's good or bad because that's what gamers do. I, on the other hand, won't take a good game for granted.
Micro transactions don't interest me in the least. More like ncaa 14 would be better, I mean, don't make the game too complicated for us more ,we'll older players, lol. Games today have way too much, too much for the sake of having more in it. Remember, Pac Man, a real simple game, on of the greatest of all time. Just give me a more simple mode, please.
I get that it’s annoying they put so much focus into micro transactions when they could be putting effort into other things but am I the only one that could not care less about the micro transactions being in the game. I’ve never spent a dollar. I forget it’s even there until someone mentions it
That's like saying it's not cool having real players on Madden because they'll retire 🤣 it's bad ass to start with your actual team and it will update rosters each year but we will buy the new version anyways
You people prioritize stuff in my opinion that really shouldn't matter,i don't care about NIL i care about gameplay and creating schools and offensive philosophies and playbooks thats my thing, not road to glory or or micro transactions i am a pretty simple in what will make me happy game wise
I think gameplay will be the least thing to worry about unless they try to go totally opposite of Madden. The madden gameplay is actually good but the people who buy it on an annual basis don't get enough of an improvement from it. I have only played Madden 17 for xbox one and madden 23 for series x since I stopped buying on a regular basis in 2011. I'm more worried about the small things not being in the game which ea is notorious for doing to try to resell the same game over and over for the next 5 years. The questions I'm asking myself are customisable playbooks going to be present and exactly how customisable, will the substitution options be like madden or will they revert back to some pause menu lock like on the last gen games. Can I run an offensive play style that may not be present any longer in college football such as the I-option or wishbone? I know that ea will want to re sale this game next year and say that they improved the lighting or fixed crowd noise or something silly like that. I also don't want to go to a website to create a team, hopefully it's in the game sort of like a forza horizon style system since these current consoles are so powerful. I'm not truly worried about recruiting but I know that it will either make or break this game depending if it's just horrible. But I expect it should be good enough to live with, I don't expect to have my socks blown off. This last thing I'm worried about are patches and game updates. Will this game come out the box ready to play with all modes functioning as they should? I haven't bought a sports game on it's release date since ncaa 14. I got madden 17 and 23 in late December or January each time. But I will buy this game the day it releases, hopefully I'll be satisfied. 😂
Jesus loves you guys so much and all he wants is a relationship with you we are living in the end times Jesus is coming back soon please choose God today before its to late and stop following satan and the things of this world
If you guys think EA is gonna allow college football to be better than Madden( their money maker) think again! I’m staying far away from any sport games created by EA! Good luck, guys! 😂😂
Real players mean absolutely nothing to me, as long as I can recruit and it's fun I'm good
Same, man
As long as good teams are good and suck teams suck
Yep. I care about customization more than anything.
For real though. I don't get the buzz about real life players. If you play a dynasty longer than 4 seasons real players doesn't even matter.
Literally. Like just make the recruiting perfect. And let us go. The real players literally are in a dynasty for like one season
The game doesn't need a storyline. We'll make our own story.
💯💯💯💯

Right Mascot Mode from 2012 (2011 Season) game was pretty good. (Except the schools who don’t have a mascot to play with of course). You know?
Ppl gonna say it suck because they are gonna expect too much from the game and gonna be looking for that same feeling from ncaa 14
Yes I bet it's going to feel watered down compared to 14.

the game will be trash, another EA cash grab

So the survey would look like
-Reason for survey and the intended purposes to use the information...
-Gemeplay general
-Gameplay offense
-Gameplay passing
-Gameplay rushing
-Gameplay blocking
-Gameplay catching
-Gameplay defense
-Gameplay tackling
-Gameplay turnovers
-Gameplay kicking

-How many hours have you played the game
I think a carefully detailed independent survey can put the consumer base in the driver's seat of where this game will go. Real life is giving a walk on $300 in cash to take the recruit for a good time. Strip Clubs and ladies of the evening/road. I hope they focus on this.
2k doesn't have the story line in 2k24

All that eye to detail is great. But if it doesn't have great game play it's going to be trash.😂😂
Soon we can play the game.
Legends only in Ultimate Team would be a huge letdown.
When someone says Madden reskin what exactly is it you mean ?
Like college football revamped, college jerseys and stadiums with the same madden gameplay. The thing is madden gameplay is hot garbage.

OLLIE GORDON II 99 OVR
Micro transactions don't interest me in the least. More like ncaa 14 would be better, I mean, don't make the game too complicated for us more ,we'll older players, lol. Games today have way too much, too much for the sake of having more in it. Remember, Pac Man, a real simple game, on of the greatest of all time. Just give me a more simple mode, please.
I get that it’s annoying they put so much focus into micro transactions when they could be putting effort into other things but am I the only one that could not care less about the micro transactions being in the game. I’ve never spent a dollar. I forget it’s even there until someone mentions it
Nah if anything add more highschool elements that 50% of what made the game fun
ability’s in the game?
Ehhhh maybe if done right but not sure how that would work
That's like saying it's not cool having real players on Madden because they'll retire 🤣 it's bad ass to start with your actual team and it will update rosters each year but we will buy the new version anyways
You people prioritize stuff in my opinion that really shouldn't matter,i don't care about NIL i care about gameplay and creating schools and offensive philosophies and playbooks thats my thing, not road to glory or or micro transactions i am a pretty simple in what will make me happy game wise
They not going to give us no old players for free. They all going to be in ultimate team
I just care about gameplay and customization
Bro u asking for to much we just won’t the game back
If it runs as a copy and paste game engine as Madden, it’ll be a flop. Not realistic football at all in gameplay wise. Well see 🤷🏼♂️
Jesus loves you guys so much and all he wants is a relationship with you we are living in the end times Jesus is coming back soon please choose God today before its to late and stop following satan and the things of this world

Rock the boat
Don't play any of these Ultimate team mess anyway. Never liked it or cared. So who cares about these microtransactions.
If you guys think EA is gonna allow college football to be better than Madden( their money maker) think again! I’m staying far away from any sport games created by EA! Good luck, guys! 😂😂
im excited about nothing, this is EA were talking about. the company went downhill fast
I only care about RTG and ultimate team
Stop the hype it is an EA game so it will be a bs
