- As you learn English you will run into phrases like, "over here", and "up there" and many more. These phrases use the words "here" and "there" but they can be a little challenging to understand.
In this English lesson I will try to have some fun while at the same time teaching the meaning and usage of these phrases.
I hope you enjoy this English lesson!

Thank you for explaining things that may seem too obvious for native speakers but are not automatically understandable for us learners. You too have a nice day Bob.
The "up there" "over here" phrases are very natural for us and I did not realize they can be a challenge for some learners until I talked to a friend of mine who learned English as a second language. In his language there are different words for here and there and the English equivalents weren't quite the same and that made it difficult.👣☔💖

Cool！It's a very very exiting and humored short lesson！I have been confused about "Here you go" ,"There you go" ,"Here you are" for many years when I was in the restaurant or groceries or cafes.

I went to a restaurant with a friend from China last summer and after the waitress brought our food and said, "Here you go" he asked what it meant.
