This is a good lesson to all homeowners. That ivy has literally ruined the siding. Lesson: do not let ivy take over. This was an excellent video. You did an awesome job.
Wonderful job! Ivy is pretty growing along a fence if you don't let it take over! People don't realize the damage it can do if planted next to a home and not kept under control. It can result in costly repairs. You have a new prescriber from the state of New York......enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing! God Bless you and your family!
Nice job, what a mess though, hopefully the homeowner realizes the mistake of allowing the ivy to get totally out of control, now damaged the siding. Nice video. 👏👏👏👏👏😉🇺🇸
I have a bid on a tax sale home that has this on it. It made it all the way up but thankfully it's only a quarter of what is on this home. I can't work on it until I it all goes through the city. I keep thinking about how much it's growing in the meantime. Lol. This will be fun said no one ever. Great job!
thank you for this tutorial video. ivy can be so distructive. probably grown into the drain pipe too. such an invasive plant. best suited for flower pots with metal wire designs. if you have to have it in my opinion. whew. good job
I don't see how that siding is going to be cleaned well enough for repainting. Shame on them for letting it get so horribly overgrown. Did you spray it with roundup to kill it off? You did a great job of removing that nasty ivy! Kudos 👏 Sirs!
My question is why did the owner of the house let it grow that far and decided he doesn't want it there anymore...what a job getting rid of all that messy vines..thanks to you it's looking better until next time...
I wonder after pulling all the ivy down would a weed killer remove the remnants from the ivy? Anyway, you did a wonderful job and it's too bad the homeowner allowed the ivy to grow out of control. That growth must be at least two or three years old. You did the best with such difficult ivy and the attachment it had to the siding.
I looked at a house that was for sale, the ivy had grown under the back deck, got inside the walls of the brick home. The ivy damaged the windows and even lifted and shifted the roof. It was a mess. I’m sure it cost thousands to repair.
Wow, good job 👏. Now it needs enzyme spray and salt the ground to kill the roots. Poor owner will probably have to remove the siding and clean under it. 😢
If you don’t find the roots the ivy will come back. Sad to see the destruction ivy causes. There is still ivy there and it will grow. I hope the homeowner finds a way to remove he rest.
Can't believe the damage done to her house. You did a fantastic job getting rid of the first part of repairing her siding. Thanks for sharing. Be safe.
Once it gets under siding or roofing, you're screwed. May as well try for a second mortgage because it'll be a very expensive repair. Removing the Ivy was the easy part, but the damage it did remains.
Wow....Never realized that ivy stems were so thick....maybe a pressure washer will remove some of the stains 🤔....Tordon, or crossbow herbicide will probably kill the roots to prevent regrowth, but you have to be very careful when using them...will kill everything it touches too.
I don’t know why ivy and vines growing on things gives me the creeps. I start itching when I see it. It’s like seeing a bunch of ants for me. Great seeing this clean up.
Perfect video on why you should never let any kind of vegetation grow on your house. Great job on cleaning that.

Wow tough job. Those vines were super thick. Awesome
job , but music was so loud n distracting. Thanks for sharing , very interesting to watch.
Nice work. However the only way to rid the damage done by the vines is to aggressively sand the surface to remove all the material and repaint...
thank you for this tutorial video. ivy can be so distructive.

Not really shame on the owner. They may be disabled and on a fixed income and weren’t able to keep up with the maintenance.
Consider wearing eye protection and a mask of some sort very interesting and well done
Nice work pulling it down but what a mess the ivy made of the siding.

That was an epic disaster...😳
So the leftover on the house ...
How would it get removed 🤔
Fantastic job 👏 👍 👌 🙌 😀
That was a lot of ivy!!!! Great job!!!
Your video should be a PSA for all homeowners. That was a hard job.

Great job, well done.
What a mess that was. Nicely done
What a job, you did excellent
That ivy looked like something out of a horror movie, ready to consume the house.
Big job. You did great.
that plant will walk miles if not contained
good job

Love it!
EXCELLENT JOB!!! ✌️💯 I HATE IVY!!! 😡
VERY GOOD JOB!!!!
Can't believe the damage done to her house. You did a fantastic job getting rid of the first part of repairing her siding. Thanks for sharing. Be safe.
I think you should have hired a scissor lift, that looked so dangerous from a ladder. Good job anyway
I hope you got a bonus for removing that ivy!! What a nightmare! You did an awesome job! 👍👍
Crazy! Shows if you don't take care of your home Mother Nature will take it back! Now just needs a power wash. Amazing job guys👍🏾💪🏾
Wow ! 🤩🤩🤩

It's alive! It's alive and it's trying to eat my house!

Why the owner never remove the vines earlier? Good work guy n its take alot of work n time to remove.

GREAT VIDEO
Un excelente trabajo, saludos desde la Ciudad de México
não entendo esse costume de plantar certos tipos de plantas pra destruir a parede da casa, que trabalheira em... 😒
Awesome job
Would power wasing clean up what's left on the siding or is it too badly damaged to bother?
My experience : not really, the roots seem to "marry" with the underground, the older that pest grows
I don’t know why ivy and vines growing on things gives me the creeps. I start itching when I see it. It’s like seeing a bunch of ants for me. Great seeing this clean up.
Wonderful job ❤❤❤
Wow what a job!!!!
That’s a slow grinding job takes hours but must be done to save the house ,ie to house holders don’t plant this on your property ,it’s very invasive
What did you do with Ivy did you chip it or just haul it away in a trailer
Why would you let this grow on your home, you should have been called out to take this off a long time ago. I don't like ivy on finces. Great job .
How in the world the homeowner let the Ivy grow over your home 😮😮😮
Ivy is pretty bad in Ms better hope no one is alergic to it can do some damage.
Next step....power wash!
Music is very annoying!
I will never, ever buy a home with this stuff on it.
Looks like a very tedious boring job.
Ivy is pretty…..destructive.
Ivy is toxic
