How To Slay Zombies Instantly: The Nail Bomb

  • The Nail Bomb from the hit zombie game The Last Of Us is probably the most exotic improvised explosive device we have made to date. This is not our first time cloning video game weapons. Definitely not our first rodeo. We received numerous requests to clone the nail bomb from The Last Of Us so it was basically a must. The name alone "nail bomb" screams "we must make this." And we made quite a few of them!
    So what is the nail bomb? Well, it's a crafted item from the zombie apocalypse video game "The Last Of Us." Made from a can, nails (duh), knives, and some explosives. The game doesn't go into detail about making them, so we used our explosive expertise and experience to craft a clone-correct nail bomb. How well did it do? Well, not too bad honestly. Check it out yourself!

    This video is long and we won't deny it. We went into great detail explaining a lot of aspects of the nail bomb. So if you skip through the monologue, it won't hurt out feelings. There are plenty of booms to watch.
    So what other video game weapons would you like us to clone? Leave your comments below and we will see if we can get to them!

      that's exactly what I was thinking. They spent way too much time talking about other RUclipsrs and how they don't have the budget the other channels have. They just need to do their thing and stop whining about not having what others have. I could care less about them sweating or being limited on budget. I just want to see things go boom.

    for ballistics, you could copy paul harrell's "meat target". basically its oranges surrounded by pork spare ribs and a couple layers of cloth. Not super cheap, but probably cheaper than ballistics gel.

    I have watched so many videos testing the shrapnel effects of explosives. I feel the lack of desired evidence is because of the lack of coverage. Keeping the same plywood targets y’all use to figure out how much force the shrapnel has, make a circle or square or whatever around those targets using drop cloths. Harbor freight has the 9x6 ones right now for $8. Buy a bunch of them, build a frame of sorts, that can be used over and over again. Then hang the drop cloths on the frame. I feel you’ll catch the spread of the shrapnel better. Like paper targets, the drop cloths can be used numerous times if you put a patch on them. Iron on cloths patches would be super easy and cheap. Or just sew up the holes with a sewing machine, even cheaper.
    Born and raised Houston boy, Hell, I’ll help y’all build the thing. I went to Sam, I’m fairly familiar with the area y’all are in.

      Taofledermaus was getting OK results with the homemade fishing lure silicone /RTV rubber when experimenting with that instead of gelatin udue to temperature issues with gelatin, results weren't bad and would probably do in a pinch. quite possibly one can go all Paul Harrel and start sinking rib bones and oranges as lung simulant inside it as well...(don't forget the t-shirt leather skin simulant and of course the "High Tech Fleece Bullet Stop®©")

    • @Erpyrikk
      @Erpyrikk 9 месяцев назад

      @@r.gilman4261 gelatin is very expensive and isn't a human analog just a repeatable medium. plywood can do the same for a lot less hassle. the biggest issue when catching shrapnel is surface area and getting enough silicon rubber is gonna be pricey as well.

    My thoughts on devices like this and the Ukrainian soda bottle claymore, I would love to see a collaboration with Ballistic High-Speed channel. That way with some ballistics dummy torsos you get a way better idea of what is happening and the effectiveness of the device and what works and what doesn't, now that may kind of blur the lines of T.O.S. Of RUclipss saying it's instructional but honestly in a scientific perspective it would be much more educational in that sense. Love your videos keep up the great work, been a long time sub even though RUclipss has deleted my subscription multiple times not sure why but has never stopped me from getting that bell back on!
