    Hi Ben.
I under stood that inverters (solis)
Could only take 20% more than the pv array?
Can you let me know how you came up with your panel calculations!
Can you go into the settings procedure of inverter also!
    Great video!
    Regards mg.

Hi, The Solis hybrid data sheet covers all this. You can easily run way more than 20% of the array into these inverters.

Hi new subscriber, I wanted to know is this battery on the solar inverter as can see strings and you do great job of explaining, but wanted to know does this mran it's on dc side, as see people get extra inverters and add batteries on ac side. Very confusing what best.

Hi, thanks for subscribing. This a DC coupled system. AC coupled is usually when addingin and wanting to retain a feed in tariff. Or is battery and solar need to be in different locations. (there are other reasons for AC coupled too)

Do you not use 100mA rcbo for the inverter . Is it run through an MCB. We use rcbo in Ireland on our installs

There is no requirement from Solis to have RCD protection on the inverter. It wasn't needed on the AC Circuit on this one.

Great Video, kind of thing I want, what would total cost be for this equipment on a single story bungalow??

Hi Ben. Does the inverter and battery's have to be located close to the electrical meter, as am considering installation in the garage at the rear off the property, 30 ft off garden in the middle feed from 25mm armoured cable
And my utilities meter is at the front.

The comms meter for this system requires a CT clamp be put around the mains incoming live to the property before it splits into any parallel paths. Ideally at the meter or on the main switch in your distribution board. You’ll have to run a comms cable from your inverter location to the meter.

You will need a cat 5 cable between inverter and Solis Energy meter which will need siting by the electric meter. Remember, separate ducts for power and data, or use EV Ultra

How much a 4kw system with invter and 5kw battery will cost??
