great job. question: what the purpose for the creases that u create in the concrete? is it to limit cracks plus how do you achieve that? the tools used and technique etc??

Nick-MC it usually makes a crack stop at that section also in future easy to cut and remove single sections

I think it's to try and encourage the concrete to crack along those lines under stress, where it won't be visible, rather than just forming a crack randomly.

I'm looking at resurfacing my laminate counter top, have you ever done concrete over laminate? There are several videos on RUclips that show how to do it, but all of them show the concrete when finished without color. I would like to add some color as opposed to having grey counters. Do you have any advice on how to add color to the mix? I'm going to use Henry's feather finish skimcoat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It takes at least 28 days to dry maybe longer depending on how much sun it gets.

If color stays in the bottom of the water bucket you can get inconsistency

There is liquid color you can use, this happens to be a dry color.

anytime I used color in concrete it was over 6 yds to 10 it set up real fast. you really had to move. I put a retardant in it next time I did it
