The India and Bangladesh situation was solved a couple of years ago by the two governments. They exchanged parcels of land to get rid of the enclaves. It was one of the most interesting situations before then.

    - the city at the boarder of Belgium and the Netherlands is a 'mess' of enclaves and not just a city split in two. You definitely should have mentioned that

The only reason you see on the mexican side houses next to the border but not on the US side, specifially here, is because this is an estuary as the Tijuana River's delta ends right there. But if you go further east, there are houses on both sides of the border. Yet, obviously, there is much more order on the US side, but that's all.

Fun fact : The complicated borders of enclaving India & Bangladesh was solved in recent years by both of the governments with mutual meets, both of the countries had to lose or gain lots of land to make border less complicated, in a result India lost more of the lands to the Bangladesh cause natives were in support of Bangladesh and good thing was, there's no major issue due to those territories unlike ind & pak, India just calmly gave up those lands and removed all the enclaves by making it 1 separate line of division. I mean in conclusion that was a good thing to do cause natives use to suffer alot due to border problems, that's been solved now. There's a little, very little disadvantage too, as some of the towns got divided into two as being fully in India & vice versa but ig that's what they wanted so I don't think it should be questioned.

Dannevirke in Denmark, Dannevirke is the Nordic region's largest defense structure and historical monument. It consists of ramparts and walls and was created and expanded from around the year 500 to approx. 1200. The work was to secure the kingdom's border to the south and stretched across Jutland between the fjord Slien and the river Trenen. At the latest in the 1864 war (2nd Schleswig War), Dannevirke functioned as a defense structure, and has an almost mythical role in Denmark's history.
