EWY ROSQVIST and BJÖRN WALDEGÅRD (Waldegard or Waldegaard) flag off the historic Rally outside Grand Hotel in Stockholm.
BJERKBORN HISTORIC RALLY TEAM
drives a replica of Ewy Rosqvist´s winning car in 1963:
a Mercedes-Benz 220SE 1965.
EWY ROSQVIST-VON KORFF
born 1929 in Sweden, is the only women to have been an official racing driver for Mercedes-Benz. The greatest success was the 6 days race in Argentina 1962, the Gran Premio Internacional Standard with Ursula Wirth as co-driver. In a Mercedes-Benz W111 220SE.
BJORN WALDEGARD
(1943 - 2014) was a Swedish rally driver and the winner of the first World Rally Championship for drivers in 1979. In this rallye he drove a Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC.

Enjoy my latest movie from the take-off of Rallye Monte-Carlo Historic 2014. In 1963, Ladies Trophy of the Monte-Carlo Rally, was won by Ewy Rosqvist-von Korff and Ursula Wirth in theirs Mercedes-Benz 220SE. Today, 51 years later, she flag off the start from Stockholm together with another famous swedish driver, Björn Waldegård.
This movie have english subtitles and I hope you who live outside Sweden, will understand the dialog. To get the movie more personal, I also asked Ewy for some comments to the film.
This is the first movie in a new serie about Ewy and her career.
