I've been tweaking and updating my build of ramos for about a year now and its by far my favourite deck, I dont have that much money so my deck is around 100$, a lot of which are lands. My list runs Jegantha companion but that does optimise the amount of counters. Some great cards you might have missed are Safari/Melira who protect while giving pips, Invasion of alara, which also triggers ramos when you flip it because battles are exiled then cast, lilah slick shot show off who is just crazy. Bring to light is also great, and Guided passage is funny. My favourite wincon has to be Epic Experiment though

Those are some great cards! Guided Passage is an amusing card, and it definitely has some great stories behind it. By running Jegantha as the companion, are there any cards you miss not having in the deck due to Jegantha's deck-building requirement?

I appreciate the effort put into this extensive video. I just started my own build. I think I'm really going to focus on +1/+1 counter mechanics for my version.
I'd be curious, how consisidoes Ramos enter the battlefield by turn four? I feel like with this deck, that should be the benchmark requirement in order to be able to keep up with other players.

Thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate it. As long as our opening hand has some form of ramp, we should easily get Ramos onto the battlefield ahead of schedule. If not, then we are prepared to manage the battlefield with our extensive suite or removal/disruption spells until Ramos enters. Then, we will have little trouble using Ramos's ability to overwhelm our opponents. Happy brewing!

Ramos is a favorite of mine, I love it in The Ur Dragon and I want to build a deck revolving around him, but for now it will just be part of the 99. So in the meantime I will just sit back and watch how someone else would build around it, hopefully there a Progenitus among the 99 of this deck since you can just remove 5 counters and get the mana needed for it. Another great choice to add to the BCC though, that's something I can say with confidence. #Roadto2k

Any concern about the average CMC and only having 2 counterspells?

The average CMC has not be a problem with all of the ramp in the deck, and the two counterspells are two more than I should have in the deck, according to members of my playgroup hahaha. If needed/desired, there's always room for more counterspells...

Ive never really even looked at his abilities even though I have that card. Lol

Ramos is really strong, but sometimes maybe forgotten as the third fiddle in the Draconic Domination preconstructed EDH deck.

Could this be cEDH level 🤔

I do believe that Ramos can be sculpted with cEDH in mind, but I would not consider this build of Ramos to be cEDH-worthy.
