- Sean Penn and Dakota Johnson chat with ET's Kevin Frazier in Los Angeles about how their friendship led to their new film, 'Daddio.' The co-stars also open up about what to expect from the film, which is about a woman taking a cab ride from the JFK airport to New York City and engaging in a conversation with the taxi driver about the important relationships in their lives. 'Daddio' is in theaters on June 28.
How could you not fall in love with her. That film is a surprise treat. Loved the writing, loved the casting and performances.
Used to love conversations with cab/limo drivers going to the airports in different states. Some of the sweetest folks - interesting and fun conversations.
I hope Dakota and Sean read comments. Because I adore movies like these.

I've been watching and enjoying movies since I was 5 - sadly that is 72 years ago. There has been just one artist whose films I now watch just because they are in them - no matter what the subject matter - and I've seen all the great stars. That is Dakota who has been one of the great surprises - she is the best there's been. And Daddio is great.
I always liked talking with the cab drivers, back in the day, before cellphones. I met interesting recent immigrants, and wise older Americans. I took cabs at various ages,....in my 30, 40,s & 50s,....not often, occasionally.
After reading Eve's book, I just want him to tell the story about how he tried to bail her out of jail. That was HILARIOUS!
A fan of both these actors so will def be watching this one. Can’t help but wonder though why Sean looks 20 years older than he is. I hope he’s ok.

For so many years I considered Dakota Johnson a completely overrated, even tragic actress with a permanently stupid smile plastered on her face. I was 100% sure that this was another Hollywood 'empty nut', but what a change... not this woman at all! The sweet idiot disappeared without a trace and a beautiful, natural and mature woman appeared. I absorbed her throughout the entire film as if on a drug craving. Without a doubt, with her role and her charm, she bought me all over without undressing, so I'm all for it!
