@@flymasterkyle1277 nah, so in the original reveal trailer this song played, it was one of the first pieces of music we heard from this game and it was an amazing trailer, so our excitement really latched to that trailer. Of course later we would get other trailers with more music, and they were all good, but when the game came out we heard all the tracks except this one, which a lot of people were bummed about, a lot of people were waiting for it to come in and have our emotions flood back but it wasn’t there. Then we wait a year for the dlc to come out, get all the way to the end of the game, the last thing this game has to offer us, after a hard af DPS check, they reveal this as leviathans theme, it just makes it so good, the first song we heard was the last one we hear in the game, and there’s a poetic way to look at it but yeah that’s why a lot of people including myself were so happy
I mostly used Shiva for the Timekeeper fight, so when it used the timestop on me when I had been using it the entire fight I was like “wait, that’s illegal”
Am I the only one who thinks that when a Master Tomberry does his unblockable, and does that sword dive in the end of it's combo is a refference to Sephiroth?
I did Leviathan in one go on FF mode (after like 50 attempts) was so proud! Whole final phase I was 1 hit from dying. Replayed everything again via adventure and… yeah no way I’m beating Leviathan in one go there. If you lose you restart at the beginning of the level (if you want to keep your score) and the Couerls and timekeeper are so damn hard lol Can beat main game without too many issues in FF arcade… but my lord the DLC are brutal. Like at my skill level I straight up can’t do Sagespire. Even if I started at Omega idk if I could beat him with the limited gear.
"Chat! What do I do?" Proceeds to completely miss the advice as he's still processing his religious experience. "How do I dodge that move?!" "Brimstone" "What do I do?! "Brimstone, the ability literally designed to nullify damage" "I keep dying!" "......"
Haven't played 16 since after launch (so I haven't played the DLC yet) but since Ultima's transformation staggers enemies couldn't you pair it with Odin's cancel abilities for some really long combo time?
I was really hoping the shippet of what is actually clive getting Ultima's power was an alternate ending for the game. Since Clive is meant to collect the power of all Eikons to be Ultima's perfect vessel, meaning including Leviathans. So I was hoping doing the DLC before finishing the base game would have a different ending where Clive isn't overwhelmed with Ultima's power. The developers said they didn't want players to miss out on content due to a paywall, but that's exactly what a DLC is. Even in FF15 the Ignis DLC changed the ending of the base game. Instead you get new abilities and a feat at the very absolute end of the game where you can only really test it in Kairos gate.
Go a little easier. With action games like these, it’s natural to lose some of your touch when you haven’t played in a while. I know it happened for me in this game.
4:42:23 The reaction I think everyone had when they heard THE song… I had tears i couldn’t pay attention, thank god there was a checkpoint
Rather poetic when you think about it. It ends the same way it began.
What’s so special about it though? I think it’s incredible, but is it from an older FF game?

Also Timekeeper and Leviathan bossfight casually reminding us how great FF XVI. is!!

Tbf, this was made because fans asked for it, it did not change the ending exactly for the content pay wall
Wonder who wins out of all of em. Bahamut may clap every single one of the incons besides Odin and última maybe. Does bahamut clap leviathan tho?
Man JC never really got that good at the combat lmao
Shoulda used the Arete Stone to train. Loved the playrough but it was rough watching him fight sometimes ngl
Like learn how to play a bit better

To be fair Leviathan is definitely the toughest boss, I had a bit of trouble with it in FF mode
