That wall of sound is insane, made even more by burying the vocals in the mix, and lets him rip. It adds to the buzzsaw. Especially in the chorus with that additional vocal harmonies that are so washed out the might be guitars. Classic.

You should really really check out Porcupine Tree. You would absolutely dig these guys. Steven Wilson (the singer) is one of the most under appreciated musicians ever IMO. They're progressive rock. Check out the song "Hatesong", promise you won't be disappointed
