Dumb question I'm sure... is there a way to display more than one scoreboard at a time? I didn't see/hear that being mentioned in the video. I should clarify what I'm specifically asking for, I'm trying to put together a datapack, that will track a player's set currency, special currency, and 'Power integar' of something (depending on the level or amount of something in one's control has a number added to the score). these three things are needed to know how much is useable to spend in certain shops, to get certain items, or open certain areas. and I'm hoping to set it up for a server of up to 4 players. Is there a means to do this using scoreboards or can you only list one per player?
This isn't dumb at all as Minecraft doesn't really teach you this! Surprisingly its a bit in-depth. Basically, you can tie scoreboards to certain "slots" in-game. There are technically 4 slots, but really only 3 that can be used in conjunction. The first is the one you see in the video and on servers, or "sidebar". This unfortunately cannot be compounded with additional scoreboards in the same slot without the use of plugins on a server. You can also use the other slots though, "list" and "belowname". These show a score in the "players" menu and below a player's name respectively. You *could* in theory set up a check that *changes* which scoreboard is using the sidebar display slot depending on different criteria in game though, for a more dynamic list. Another option would be to use the fourth slot: sidebar.team. . This shows a specific scoreboard on the side of your screen depending on what color team the player is on. So you could have a currency type tied to different color teams, and then give players a way to switch teams when they want to see different currency types. Hope this helps!
Unfortunately it does not 😞. Its written exclusively for Java, which is certainly sad. But, the older versions of the website *are* actually pretty close to the syntax for Java. So if you go to MCStacker and use the 1.12 version, it will be pretty close to Bedrock, but not exact.
Yo could you do the same video on bedrock pls I really neeed that on bedrock and/or boss like you did but on Java beccause I don’t know how to test a hopper with item in plsss I know it take time but it is so useful Edit: come back 😢
