Gengar is spelled wrong not trying to be that guy but you alr know I love your vids
@@ttack_And_Snack I can't edit my comment because Spragles hearted it. Oh well
I think the biggest reason people dont use lapras isnt that its bad now, at least not in a vacuum. The problem with lapras is that all the alternatives are insane. Umbreon is in the running for best mon in the game, crustle, especially when coordinating with teammates shuts down mages hard, blastoise is a top 3 option for 2 separate roles its that good... and then theres trevenant. Possibly the 5th best defender only, which is insane to consider, because the one defender i didnt mention is the "you cant kill this thing and it can shut down any enemy pokemon reliably" slowbro... yeah, defenders are just way too good right now, why would you use lapras when theres 5 broken alternatives at minimum
Good point!
I think Mamoswine's Icicle Crash-Earthquake build is criminally underrated. They pair together so well.
Mamoswine itself is Darn underrated
@@Anime_editz_2737 I wouldn't go that far. It definitely has some untapped potential, but the fact that it was one of the earliest Defenders (meaning no inate HP recovery) *and* has a weakness to most of the supporters in the game, means it simply can't ever be one of the best Defenders
completely agree, this moveset has been having insane winrates every week for 5months (with low pickrate, but it's consistent every week)
@@ChesterRGC it's probably just me and you ^_^
I actually used that build I think.
YESS finally someone gives visibility to these builds
I would also add Crash+quake Mamo and Icy wind Glaceon, they're criminally slept on
Both solid builds

absolutely love playing alolan ninetales.
and i absolutely hate playing against alolan ninetales.
A skilled lapras is definitely still a threat. I had a teammate lapras last night and they put in a lot of work.
high win rate low pick rate is very bad, the reinhardt effect is when the win rate is high, is because the only people picking them is because they are specialists/is their main, the high win rate then tells the devs to lower the win rate, forcing people to change mains, or play against the grain
Yeah I’m making a vid about win rates and this is a big talking point for sure
Off meta believers sound off! 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
Not only the builds, but your discussion on why the builds work with tips and tricks is so good.
Glad you liked it!
Man i love garchomp especially it's brawl playstyle but chomp's in a really bad position for your average soloq players. This is because of the braindead point n click range attackers with a passive that neglects a stun, yeah i am talking about the glaceon and espeon. Even if people are pulling off victories bcoz of last team fights but the overall game has been harsh and takes away the fun from chomp which is the main factor behind playing chomp😢
Lapras is ok, but after the nerfs it cannot compete with blastoise , trevenant, crustle or even mamoswine
1 hour gang here 👇👇👇
Where are you pointing? 😭
the best crew
Didn't realize I caught it this early.
@spragels love your content, keep it up! You keep me interested in playing unite whenever I start to get bored of it.
Yee haw
Goodra does best with HP items, Dragon Pulse heal is based on your Hp & your unite move heals based on max hp plus being unkillable make your enemies waist attacks on you. I recommend Resonant Guard, Buddy Barrier & (Assault Vest or Slick Spoon) I prefer Assault Vest because it combos with goodras passive. If you're in solo, I think Acid Spray is way better. You can use it aggressively or to run away. Full Heal feels way more impactful, especially if you have Dragon Pulse.
So how many people use venasaur and use giga drain and petal dance cause all I ever see is about solar beam

The Builds: *exactly what I've been doing since day 1*
Haha Garchomp mains go brrrrrrrrrrrr!
they really do
jake is glaceon with red emblems any good?
You don’t need red on glaceon
Lol, I knew it, Garchomp is indeed underrated, I literally carried majority of the matches in ranked with garchomp
As a Garchomp Main, i feel like the reason why Garchomp has a low pick rate is unlike a similar Pokémon (Tyranitar) he doesn’t have tons of moves which resists any sort of stuns
If I would buff Garchomp, I would give the GroundChomp more viability by giving hindrance immunity for the base and unstoppable for the upgraded version
These buffs would give GroundChomp a good alternative against a very stun heavy team
Man we need more defenders, komala perhaps?
Id like to see Cloyster or Clamperl
Loving the vids spragels! But why are you recommending builds that you're not showing in the gameplay... makes it confusing to follow
NGL I was thinking we were gonna see a Phil Garchomp, Cris Gengar, Bruv mime, Spragels Goodra, and someone I don't know A9..
1 month gang here 👇👇👇
Commenting before watching
If you mention Mimikyu. You're wrong. Always play it
No charging charm on absol ?
Is the charging charm good on absol since it has so many dash moves
charm works!
Iam gonna be honest here, charizard doesn’t need a buff. It’s really REALLY strong in the right hands (like my hands)
Pampers pant ad in this video !!! 😂 So funny jake ! 😂
I play Aurora Veil, I can guarantee you that in 2000+ games I have not encountered more than 3 others like me. It's terrible because with good allies it's magnificent and really satisfying
Is this video old? No charging charm on absol?
its brand new. you could use charm for sure
Good job jake saw that ABSOLutely hilarious joke from a goal away 😂
The problem is Unite players are totally clueless about the game. Super terrible even on the basic objectives. Players would rather play point and click combos and think they are “good” at the game.
Why wasn't Dura on the list
Honesty I have like 4 that didn’t make it and dura was one of them. Didn’t want too many from one role.
Yeah timi should really focus on more roles that aren't all rouders or attackers
Flash Cannon is by far the most underrated build in the game.
@@spragelsWhat's your thoughts on best Talonflame moveset?
i think the 3rd item on Absol is charging charm. Pursuit is a dash and a boosted attack so the synergy is really good. scope razor charm is the way to go IMO
Charm is a great call
Yeah, Charm is literally a game changer for Pursuit.
This goodra build is one of the most annoying in the game! It's insanely good & heavily underrated with how much sustain you can get in fights! Lol 🤣☯️🤙
In my opinion Pain Split Trevenant is so underrated. Sure it's not an aoe stun like Horn Leech but good lord once you see that the enemy team has a crazy basic attack pokemon like Dragapult which is very popular right now, it's literally shredding itself to death. Pain Split is much better than the playerbase give it credit for
This ☝️
Honestly, I think everyone is sleeping on Azu. I hadn’t played it in awhile and started again this season and have a 70% wr in 100 games with aqua tail/water pulse
As spmeome who loves playing Goodra i can confirm ive been ended by Gengars dealing 28k dmg to me in team fights.
Since then ive been terrified of the purple monster
Should I be worried? The 2 Pokémon I am closest to Gold ribbons are Char and Lap lol.
Like greninja I Been bangle muscle float stone ona. Movement build for back out on and off and it's helping alot because greninja really good for backing out and being aggressive when it needs with that alot of movement
I use garchomp like that except I don’t use scope lense I use drain crown because your mainly using you basic so you heal a ridiculous amount and you never die several times I’ve been mvp as him but I switched to goodra because garchomp was boring to play as
When I see cramo, I think of Andrewjrt. He plays cramo to troll so bad XD
I agree with everything you said except for Charizard, mon sucks
A goodfun build is focus band, resonant guard, score shield, rollout wiggly. #geometryrocks
when playing charizard i dont look for the best unite target, i look for the one that has bullied/annoyed me the most early game. thats the one that will receive every unite
So the curse incense and bangle if your me these items are a really positive aid I'm the fights I almost mandatory it over muscle band but it's muscle band cause I fought very heavy heal reliant teams in this game very often so its really good to stun the healing to Consistenly honestly. But that left you with one item at the end of the day
Hear me out, razor ace leafeon
yes i do play that lol and i get more consistency from it than solar blade idk why but having so much mobility than needed can get me in and out a lot of trouble
you want to run charging charm as your 3rd slot on absol, and shedinja doll is another viable battle item
Timestamps?
Now I know why my goodra wasn't dying at super low hp focus band
No wonder I've been seeing Mr mimes on the enemy team almost every single battle lately. Shits annoying honestly lol.
No wonder I've been seeing Mr mimes on the enemy team almost every single battle lately. Shits annoying honestly lol.
Absole with charm is very good😊😊
My boy ran muddy water goodra and I was running moonlight Clefable I felt bad lol
Goodra player here that is true Goodra is really strong and hard to take down in some games I last longer than every player and wipe out your opponents
4:27 Agreed, but also x speed helps you maneuver around with overheat and your unite move
agree! I use x speed over eject button
Gengar hex sounds good but in reality its very easy to get shut down trying to combo those moves
You know guys, I’m starting to think we aren’t ready for draft
As a noob im proud that I naturally picked up a few of these 😅
Played a lot of the swap psycic last night, and it was really effective, my bad for saying it was not meta, it is verrry meta lol
It’s really solid right now
You heard the man garchomp is the best Pokémon in the world
How about some flail yawn snorlax with max crit runes???
Well I don’t use these builds because I can’t afford them🤪
Play hex sludge bomb *proceeds to show dreameater shadow ball gameplay* lol
I dont think it's feasible due to it being extremely OP, dig/earthquake should make you immovable/unstunable
yeah it needs buffs. Earthquake should be unstoppable or something and dig maybe faster?
Umbreon foul play wish build is underplayed
Personal suggestion: Flash Slam Snorlax. Either you can eject button combo your heavy slam/unite, then use block to herd enemies into your allies' moves, or you can eject slam into yawn, giving your team a basically free kill. My yawn lax personally survives things he has no right to live through. He may not kill, but he sure is good at surviving.
As a Goodra guy that plays muddy water religiously, I like Muscle Band and Rapid Fire Scarf so I can get the resets on Muddy water as much as possible. Consistently hit 100k+ damage per game with that build
Lately no of espion has decreased alot and we can just forget tsareena
Honestly, I tried a cramorant build that had mixed results. Rapid scarf, muscle band, spoon. Dive/air slash. Relies on basic attacks for damage, using dive as a eject button basically. It's fun to play, just not competitively.
Where is Ora Ora Ora? 😭 You keep talking that people are sleeping on the VoltSwitch Discharge build in your tier lists, and now that you have dedicated an entire video to this, you don't include Zeraora!
I think double reset meowscarada also belongs on this list. KOing ur opponents w/ flower trick gives u both of ur moves back instantly and has great synergy. And the mobility and shield u get from trailblaze help secure some huge fights
Once again my Greninja was not worthy. 😢 lol
Yeah.. But at soloQ random will only pick and choose attacker..
All hail attacker.. 😑
they do love their attackers
Gengars hex kinda needs a buff in my opinion... all the other speedster definitely as of recently surpass him, and when the nerf glasses and spoon, it really nerfed him. I wish they do slightly buff him again, because he needs it badly
I have been having a great success with nightslash psycho cut absol in central and i like to run drain crown as 3rd item because you are always full hp in between ganks which allows you to focus on having the level advantage which in my opinion is key to snowballing as absol you put the enemy so far behind in levels by constantly rotating and with x speed you are suddenly everywhere also you have to check out my crazy build for water urshifu which is black emblems with energy amp, resonant guard and drain crown it lowkey makes up for the nerfs by making you much more tanky
Maybe add gameplay for these movesets next time lol
Sableye full lock-down, Swipe into Confuse Ray, then follow up last hit of swipe. Items Exp, Weight, Stone.
Appreciate the awesome contest, you are my favorite unite tuber out there
I appreciate that!
I love taking my ttar for a walk - a Mr Crimes player
30 Min Gang!
👇
I always appreciate some Hex-Sludgebomb propaganda.
The FF6 reference just sealed it for me.
Metal Claw/Play Rough Zacian is actually really fun. Being able to stun enemies and negate projectiles is really useful utility for the team.
Maybe Dragonite's hyper beam isn't getting used I used it this week I think. And the move got me back to the veteran rank I lost or maybe it made me win the panic parade I don't remember that much.
I loooove Cramorant! Another build that catches people off guard is a scope lens cram, with a little bit of the green and white emblem crit rate boost and a slick spoon, bouncing boosted critical hits between enemies can catch everyone way off guard and if you’re lucky you’re adding monstrous damage to the kit. Often times a unite can chip down and a critical boosted bouncing between a couple of enemies afterwards just feels so delicious and mean. For the longest time they disabled boosted attacks being able to crit but they quietly buffed it to be able to crit and nobody seemed to notice or run it.
Can u please explain more about passives of different Pokemon? Since u mentioned galceon and Charizard
Timestamps would revolutionize the viewing experience my friend

Remember when they buffed the increased defenses of Garchomps dig and then immediately nerfed it, as if it was a sudden problem?
He’s gengar is either you become god and time the dodges while doing dmg, or you mistime it or enemy Shendija dolls you and you lose your hex and become a clown
He suggested Gengar build without using it 😭
ngl, i love night slash + sucker punch on absol, i haven't really given pursuit + psycho cut a serious try, so ty for bringing it up.
When you realize there are some many dragon Pokemon in the game that don’t have a battle pass skin and they chose to give it to a Pokemon that already has a battle pass skin and another top tier skin as well 😐
Brave Bird Talonflame. But ya’ll ain’t ready for that conversation.
Brave Bird is AMAZING damage, but I prefer Fly for the mobility. I can be used to chase or escape, whatever the situation calls for, and still has good damage
Now this is a video I dig. So many underrated builds not many play. Especially OG strong mon like Gar or Ttar
One thing that's crazy to me is how two mascot pokemon (Charizard and Pikachu) are like the worst in the game consistently, don't they sell well? On the other hand their point may be being available from the start and easy to play so kids don't have to grind for their favourite pokemon.
I think Pikachu is a lot better than Charizard right now, but in general, both of these Pokemon actually work very well until you get up to super high level competitive play
@@spragels that's true though. I feel like they're not necessarily bad but rather outclassed by newer mons, although Pikachu still has a niche with its CC
If garchomp dig worked as talonflamr fly does but going underground it would be soo awesome.
I like using energy amp and slow smoke on cram for the unite. Using smoke prevents the enemy team from diving on you
I had the best pokemon which is Zacian
No icy wind glaceon is mentioned on this list. Which means it’s even more underrated than i thought lol
Do you have a build for Delphox?
