- Welcome to another Super SpotterATL MD80 Full Flight!
Turn up those speakers because it's time to ignite the JT8D's for another Super 80 flight! I got a very comfortable seat in the exit row with plenty of legroom and space to stretch. walking into the Delta MD88's is always a treat seeing how new the interiors look! It's such a great aircraft. The cabin crew as always were very happy, polite, and welcoming. Props to Delta on keeping up with friendly crews (minus the ones who threaten to take your children away and throw you in jail). Anyway, the cockpit is always a fun place to be in. I love being at the controls. Just want to fly the gal myself! This was taken just about a month ago during my spring break. I decided to take a trip somewhere I've always wanted to go for a couple of days on my favorite aircraft. I ended up staying at the Westin Hotel at Detroit Metropolitan Airport for 2 nights! I wanted to go on as many aircraft as I wanted to go on so I made it so I could go through MSP. Somewhere else I've wanted to go to. Plenty more in-flight videos and close up spotting videos coming soon!

It's like the engineers and the marketing people got together and decided that they'd sell more engines because the noise would make passengers feel more secure. You know, they sure do sound powerful. The sound they make starting the roll at 12:00 minutes is awesome.
The pilot was a really nice guy to let you look around.

Absolute ear candy with those engines! The sad part is that it's not stereo, even though it's coming out of both speakers. It must be the GoPro. They will never get it right when it comes to audio quality! Oh how I wish I could influence them, because audio quality is 90% of what makes a video perfect. If you were using a Sony or Panisonic, you would really notice the difference immediately. When you put the headphones on, close your eyes and listen. Then, set RUclips on "full screen", and sit back in a really good, high-backed chair that reclines back. Better yet, if you have a chair with stereo speakers, just listen and open your eyes, and feel and see the difference. You won't want it any other way. With headphones on, and with speakers if at all possible, you will feel as if you're on the plane, and it will sound that way if the video was recorded in pure, surround-sound stereo. I don't have a chair with speakers, but I've heard from others who do, and when they hear how clear and crisp the sound is, in virtual reality, there's nothing better! You might even think you smell jet fuel like you do whenever the engines start, but it's not really there. It's insane, but it's also so cool. Looking forward to more.

Okay, how did you ever get surround-sound of this video, when it's not even in true stereo? The GoPro doesn't even make that possible. It certainly isn't that way here on RUclips, or if it is, I will I be able to change the settings? I have it on "auto" quality360 which automatically adjusts the settings to the optomum setting. If you put on even the best pair of headphones, you won't get that true stereo sound. (Even Bos won't improve the audio to make it sound more open.)

Could you please tell me which version of the IPhone it is? I've heard many other videos recorded with the IPhone, and they actually are in perfect stereo. This sound here is more closed, even though I hear it equally in both ears. It doesn't have that nice, wide open stereo sound like I'm in the plane with you. I'm desperately trying to solve the audio problem, because I'm feeling a bit claustrophobic when it sounds like monaural-stereo. I don't know if you understand the difference, but perhaps you can help me. Did you upload this in a lower resolution? I don't know how to make it sound any better. Perhaps I can't.

I haven't flown in 9 plus years. I had to come home early in February of 2008 from Guide Dogs for the Blind, because I got very sick while there. I didn't get to bring Zahara, my fourth Guide Dog, home with me, but they were able to bring her to me the day after Pascha on April 29, 2008. (Pascha is Easter in the Orthodox Christian Faith.) Unfortunately, she had to be put to sleep this past April because of an inoperable heart tumor. Now, I can't get a dog, because I'm unable to work for medical reasons, and it really stinks. I miss her, and I'm trying to find volunteer work. My three other Guides were Rosetta, Tapestry and Kiev. They all came from GDB in San Rafael, California.

Vlogs Live i’m planning to take Delta to Greensboro North Carolina to visit a friend. Haven’t been flying for 17 years going on 18 in 2018. The last flight that I was on I went from San Jose California to Anaheim California with my school to Disneyland. At first, flying scared the living daylights out of me when the plane lifted up in the air. But flying back, I wanted to fly one more time.

I really want to know were you will be so I could give you a tour of the fleet! ☺

That cockpit seemed to be a bit antiquated to me. I've just seen some of the cockpits of the Airbus on the internet.
Anthony Boarman Its actually a pilot favorite. The cockpit is still really nice. The Airbus's cockpit is a very simplified cockpit from other aircraft. Some people like it but others like me don't.
Yeah I've heard a lot of pilots lose their piloting skills because of too much automation. Sort of like that Air France plane that crashed into the ocean.

Nice Video again!!!! I've recently took a MD plane and it was an American Airlines flight to Columbus, OH for a horse show. They have good leg room and they serve us great. We fly American a lot Delta not as much. Delta is a great airline but we have miles on both American and Delta. Which one has more leg room, Delta or American?
