I agree on that. Ra animation on the live realm is so long you can basically go and grab a soda and Ra still be casting by the time you get back to your computer

Facts. I think the devs can make it a bit quicker by having the trees out from the start and ... well the claw scratches look awkward so maybe a different attack animation lmao

Almost all of these have that problem tbh. The movements feel super unnatural. I can only think of 2 solutions for this tbh.
1. Revert every spell that wasn't considered a problem before like storm lord or meteor strike.
2. When there is only 1,2 or maybe even 3 enemies in the battle cast the old animation so it actually makes sense.

they should honestly change the forest lord animation to the version you see in darkmoor where they slam the trees at you. that would make so much more sense

@@Itz_Johnny_G Yeah Reindeer Knight wasn’t included on the website when they announced which spells they updated, but Reindeer Knight was one of them.
Forest looks kind of dumb since it’s obvious that’s not what it’s animation was made for.
But the rest look good.
Mystic colossus doesn’t look as cool. Ra looks even cooler, humongofrog is still as filthy as it is weak

He should have made forest lord hit the ground and the ground crack and does damage or sumin

Looks like a few of them aren't quite finished, when the update comes out officially they'll probably be better. Sandstorm is looking mighty nice I will say
I doubt they would look better after the update comes out since this is what they are choosing to present. At this stage with test realm, it is more like bug testing. If it does end up looking better, please that would be nice but I have like little hope it would.

Mystic Colossus, Tempest, and forest lord need work. Also the fire dragon looks like it sucks up fire rather than spit it out
Tempest is currently bugged. The waves start too close to the enemies. This should hopefully be fixed before the update hits live realm :)
Rain of fire doesn't look too hot either. I think they didn't wanna actually change the spell animations themselves, which for some of them they definitely need to
@@KrillintheVillain They did change forest lords animation so they will probably go back and change the other animations too, right now them just making sure they can properly attack all the enemies at once

A lot of the spells lost their character. Like Bartleby, you don't even get to see his face as he heals everyone. They either need to change the camera angle on some of adjust the animation.

Blaze i have been a fan of your videos and this is definitely a great addition for content of test realm
I feel like they could change forest lord. The spell could pick up tree's like the death version of it does and slam it into the ground, due to the force the forest lord spell put into the ground would cause an 'earthquake' type of effect causing it to hit all the enemies at once, and maybe causing thorny vines to cause DOT damage while acting like an AOE spell
No.. they need to put back Orthrus sound effects. It sounds completely underwhelming.

I don't care that Forest Lord looks a little strange, soloing as a life is gonna be so much more fast now.
Life got Forest Lord sped up, a damage bubble and 2 more new spells, I've never had a life but I'm going to make one now.
Its just kinda sad that all the other animations are cool but Forest lord. They could have at least made it like the darkmoor Forest lord

Forest Lord should be re worked where he swings a tree as an AoE
A lot of the spells definitely have improved since the first time we saw them and a few like the life spell looks like it could use a bit more work.

I don't like how sometimes there's just a bit too much SPARKLE effects. Also there's almost no snow in Blizzard, hope they readd.

Edit: they were kinda lazy with it but I digress. For dragon, Rain of Fire, and a few others (please name a few, I’m only a Pyromancer...) For dragon, they could’ve had it’s head move left and right, showing a better visual of everyone getting burnt at one. Rain of fire, the lava could split into four directions and that’d be visually appealing. There are other like that Nature one, where he now scratches them instead of giving players or enemies a concussion, they could’ve changed it to him actually looking like he was scratching instead of keeping the same animation. Looks awkward. Other than that, I’m extremely proud of this improvement! I’m sure there’ll be more in the future!

Sandstorm and Rebirth look the most epic and got nice visual improvements!
Meteors and snowstorm need to be fixed imo, they should just make it 4 quicker hits instead of 4 all at once. Doing all the traps and stuff all at the beginning of the spell, and then following with hit-hit-hit-hit would be pretty cool and make a lot more sense than all of them landing at once. Also meteors completely missed in the animation and appears to have compromised the structural integrity of the island

It's a good start, some had updated animations or updated sounds, sandstorm had a whole new animation which was exciting so its a great start, they obviously can't change it completely to fit the faster pace but it takes time, I feel in a year or 2 all spells will be updated

Fire dragon and rain of fire and tempest I feel could be better. It looks weird for fire dragon to have that wide of a spread to me and for rain of fire the lava seems weird to just be in the center and no one standing there. Tempest I think is just the camera angle. Forest lord does seem weird to but at least it stays still for it with claw marks on the enemy. Everything else I love, just my 2 cents if this

Honestly as an og player, They took away a really fun part of the game. I remember having pvp parties at castles and like the suspense of the aoe hitting you was always fun. I don’t play w101 anymore but still kinda sad to see them change it
At some points it was fun, others it was honestly really time consuming.
Already love new animations so much faster then before. still worried about snow angel did it change or not. I might go back to the game of wizard 101
