Feeling pretty destroyed today 😔😔😔 got my new full set up after having the same controller since 2014 (sx-2) and the same laptop since early 2012… got the M3pro macbook and the REV-5. Made it possible to migrate all my music after couple of hours and all the playlist still intact… MY REV-5 came faulty, temp fader didnt work, headphone output was crackling ( big sound interference) i work on a cruise ship and i have to wait 5 days to go back to Miami to send it back… had a gig planned for the whole crew and now is not gonna happen because of this situation. Anyways thank you for your tips hopefully in 10 days i will have my complete set up 🙏🏻
Whats the difference between linear and power in settings. No 1 ever talks about this. My forward and bac scratch sound the same. No meat in it. Does it something 2 do with that? Im only a bedroom dj. Tnx
Is there ANYONE IN MD that knows all this shit that we can link up. I have all RANE equipment and it’s a lot of stuff on my mixer I don’t know how to use. Although I’m a beast at djing and really don’t need it I’d still like to learn the tricks. I can definitely show you a lot on the dj aspect
PDot, you need an updated laptop in order to use the stems in SERATO. Right now , I using a Mid 2011 MacBook Pro. Later this year, I am going for a Apple M1 or M2.
That’s not 100% true. You can pre analyze songs for stems if you have an older laptop You just have to be a little more premeditated with which songs you want to stem

i thought serato stems are now automatically mapped to OSA (aka your Rane 12mk2 cue pads)?
