With Cynthia Phaneuf switching to Brian Orser, she will hopefully regain her confidence. Brian Orser is a legend in Canada, and a great coach who brought several skaters to great heights. Unfortuntately, with Joannie not competing, we're in a similar situation to when Josee Chouinard retired, and we were having trouble finding women who could be in the top ten. Cynthia can definitely be in the top ten. She just needs to believe in herself and be patient.
It's too bad this was such a poor performance for her. She really has developed a beautiful balance of athleticium and artistry in her stakting. I have faith in her.
