Kitab Sulaym ibn Qays al Hilali Hadith No. 72
Husayn ibn Abdul Wahhab says: “I was told by ibn Ayyash John, who was told by Abu Talib Abdullah ibn Muhammad Ambari.” He says: “I was told by Abul Husayn Muhammad ibn Zayd Trusty.” He (Zayd) says: “Abu Samina Muhammad ibn Ali Sayrafi told me.” He said: “I was told by Ibrahim ibn Umar Yamani from Hammad ibn Isa who is known as ‘Gariq Johfah.” He said: “I was told by Umar ibn Uzaynah who narrated it from Aban ibn Abi Ayyash, who narrated it from Sulaym ibn Qays al Hilali, who said: “I have heard from Abu Dhar Jundun ibn Gaffari say:
“I saw Sayyed Muhammad (SAW) when he told Amirul Mumineen (AS) one night: “When it is morning you go to the mountains of Baqi and stand on high place on the earth. When the sun rises, salute it, because indeed, Allah has commanded it to reply to you with matters that are within you.”
So in the morning Amirul Mumineen (AS) came out and Abu Bakr and Umar were with him and a community of Muhajireen and Ansar were also with him until he reached Baqi and went and stood on a high place on the earth. When the sun arose, Alayhissalam said: “Salutation, O creature of Allah’s new creation who obeys Him.” Everyone heard a voice from the sky- an answer of someone who is answering: ‘And salutation be on you as well, O that person, who is Awwal and O he, who is Aakheer, O Zahir, O batin, O he who knows everything.’ When Abu Bakr, Umar, Muhajireen and Ansar heard what the sun said, they all fainted. Then they became conscious after a while, when Amirul Mumineen had left the place. They all went to the Holy Prophet (SAW) with the community and said: “You say that Ali is a man like us, when the sun addressed him in a manner that Allah has addressed Himself.”
The Holy Prophet (SAW) asked: “What did you hear from it?” Everyone replied: “We heard it saying ‘Salutations be on you, O he who is Awwal.’ So he (SAW) said: “It said truth. He is the first one who brought faith to me.”
They said: “We heard it say: ‘O Aakheer’.” He replied: “It said truth, he is the last person of all who will separate from me. He will give me the ritual bath, shroud and will enter me in my grave.”
They said: “We heard it say: ‘O Zahir’.” He replied: “It said truth. All my knowledge became Zahir (clear) for him.”
They said: “We heard it say ‘O Batin’.” He replied: “It said truth. All my secrets are present with him.”
They said: “We heard it say ‘O he, who knows everything’.” He replied: “It said truth. He knows what is lawful and unlawful, and compulsory, tradition and like it.”
They stood up and said: “Muhammad put us in darkness.” and left from the door of the mosque.

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to stand by a tree or a date-palm on Friday. Then an Ansari woman or man said. "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Shall we make a pulpit for you?" He replied, "If you wish." So they made a pulpit for him and when it was Friday, he proceeded towards the pulpit (for delivering the sermon). The datepalm cried like a child! The Prophet (ﷺ) descended (the pulpit) and embraced it while it continued moaning like a child being quietened. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It was crying for (missing) what it used to hear of religious knowledge given near to it."

I argue it is unlikely that people today are able to acquire even that much. Whatever people believe today, however much you feel it is, is still not enough to get them to walk on water to prove a point.

This is a really interesting topic. I am fascinated by the concept that the angels and messengers are manifestations of God’s attributes.
Gods attributes are the attributes of man.. only a god created by a Man would want your total obedience.. that is a trait of a power hungry man who wants to control you for his own purposes like Muhammad did when he wanted his friends 6 year old child

Ahmad bin al-Hassan al-Qattan told us: ‘Abdul-Rahman ibn Muhammad al-Husseini said: Furat ibn Ibrahim al-Kufi said: Ja’afar ibn Muhammad al-Fizari said: Muhammad ibn al-Hussein said: Muhammad ibn Isma’il said: Ahmad ibn Nuh and Ahmad ibn Hilal both said that Muhammad ibn abi ‘Umair narrated from Hinan: I asked Imam Abu ‘Abdullah (as): Why did Ameer al-Mumineen (as) leave the prayer of ‘Asr while he could have joined al-Dhuhr and al-‘Asr, why did he delay it?
The Imam replied: When he prayed al-Dhuhr he saw a skull laying on the ground so he (as) spoke to it and said: O skull, which lands do you come from?
The Skull answered him saying: I am fulan ibn fulan the king of the lands of aal fulan.
Ameer al-Mumineen (as) said: Tell me your story and tell me about your days.
So the skull started narrating its story and describing the good and the bad of its era and Ameer al-Mumineen was busy talking to this skull until the sun set, he talked to it with the language of the bible so that the Arabs wouldn’t understand their conversation and when he was done talking to this skull he addressed the sun and said: “Come Back” So the Sun said: “I will Not Come Back” so he made Du’a to Allah and Allah sent 70,000 Angels with 70,000 steel chains and they tied them around the sun’s neck and dragged her on her face until it returned to its bright white colour and after ‘Ali (as) finished praying the sun fell back down like a star.

The new matters that Imam Al Mahdi pbuh has come with, is not an innovation as some perceive, the Imams of the Ahlul-Bayt (pbut) have stated in many narrations that the Mahdi comes with a new matter just as Prophet Mohammed (pbuhaf) did during his time.
The Ahlul Bayt (pbut) have stated that the Qa'im (pbuh) demolishes what preceded him and starts Islam anew.
Ibn ‘Ata said: I asked Abu Ja'far Al Baqir (pbuh) and said: "When the Qa'im rises how will he walk among the people? He (pbuh) said: "He shall demolish what has preceded him like the Messenger of Allah (pbuhaf) did, and he shall start Islam anew.

Imam Al-Sadiq (pbuh) said about the Qa'im (pbuh) "When the companion of the sword comes, he comes with something different than what was before him"

Allah, the Exalted, the Majestic, says that the successors of the Last Prophet are twelve, The first one is Ali ibn Abi Talib and the last one is al-Mahdi. And his (al-Mahdi’s) rulership will endure and continue by them (his successors) till the Day of Judgment.
Kamal al-din wa tamam al-ni'mah by Sheikh al-Saduq (may Allah have mercy on him).
Chapter Twenty-three, The Nass (text) of the Almighty Allah for al- Qaim (peace be upon him) and that he is the Twelfth Imam:
4- In a long narration from Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (pbuh) from his father Musa ibn Jaffar from his father Jaffar ibn Muhammad from his father Muhammad ibn Ali from his father Ali ibn al-Hussain from his father al-Hussain ibn Ali from his father Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon them) that: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's blessings be upon him and his family) said:
”My Lord, who are my successors? I was then called Oh Muhammad, Your successors are those whose names are inscribed on the empyrean of My throne. So I looked and I was before my Lord. I saw twelve lights on the empyrean of the throne. In each light I saw a green line. The names of each of my successors was written in it. The first name was Ali ibn Abi Talib and the last one was Mahdi. I asked: Oh my Lord, are they my successors after me? I was then called Oh Muhammad, after you they are My guardians, My beloved, the chosen ones and My proof on My servants. They are your successors and Caliphs and the best of Creations after you. By My majesty and glory, I shall reveal My religion through them and I shall exalt My words through them and through the last of them, I shall purify the earth from My enemies. And I shall make him the absolute master of the whole world. I shall make the wind subservient to his command and I shall make the hard cloud proof for him so that he may ride upon it to go wherever he likes in the sky and the earth and I shall assist him with My armies. And I shall strengthen him with My angels. So that My call is raised and all the creatures gather upon My Oneness. Thus his rulership would endure and continue and from My guardians, I shall make one after the other the leaders of My faith till the Day of Judgment.”

Its not comfirmed if Mohammad pbuh is greater than the angels that carry the throne of Allah, let alone the throne it is a live being. The throne on which Allah acends to is the greatest creation of Allah hands down or Allah wouldnt have ascended to. After the throne and angels carrying the throne who are 8 in numbers. You can make a legit case for Mohammad pbuh being the greatest creation of Allah after that. Your tripping brother dont exagerate on Mohammad pbuh status. Give him what has been revieled in thr Quran and sunah and what many scholors have agreed on.

Let us realize how the delay of the fullfillment of prophecies is a test in regards to unconditional trust in Allah (swt).
Salama ibn Muhammad narrated from Ahmad bin Ali bin Dawood al-Qummi from Muhammad bin al-Hassan as-Saffar from Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Eessa from some of his companions that Abu
Abdullah Al-Sadiq (pbuh) had said:
"Prophet Noah (pbuh) asked Allah to torment his nation. Allah revealed to him to plant a stone of a date. If it grew and he ate from its fruit, Allah would torment his (Noah's) people and cause them to perish .
Prophet Noah (pbuh) planted the stone and told his companions about that. The palm grew and fruited. He ate from its fruit and made his companions eat from it. His companions said to him:
"O Prophet of Allah, what about the promise that you have promised us?" Prophet Noah (pbuh) prayed to Allah to carry out the promise that He had made.
Once again Allah revealed to him to plant another stone and when it grows and fruited, Allah would torment them.
Noah (pbuh) told his companions about that...They divided into three groups: One group apostatized,
the other dissesembled and
the third group remained with Noah (pbuh).
Prophet Noah (pbuh) planted a stone again. It grew and fruited. He ate from its fruit and fed his companions. They said:
"O prophet of Allah, what about the promise that you have made?" He prayed to Allah. Allah revealed to him to plant a third stone and if it grew and fruited, he should eat from its fruit, then Allah would perish his people.
Noah (pbuh) told his companions of that.
The two groups (the hypocrites and the believers) divided into three groups; one apostatized, one dissembled and the third still kept to Noah (a.s).
Prophet Noah (a.s) did that ten times and his companions divided every time into three groups. During the tenth time, some of his sincere companions came to him and said: "O Prophet of Allah, whether
you do what you have promised or you do not do, you are truthful. You are a prophet sent by Allah, and we never doubt you whatever you do to us.
"In this way Allah swt perished the people of Noah (pbuh) except the loyal companions, who remained with Noah (pbuh). Noah and his sincere followers rode on the Ark and so Allah saved them after they had been tried, sifted and cleared."

Justice and Peace is accomplished by true sincere believers who accept the Mahdi as their King. The matter is in your hand as well. Will you accept the Mahdi as your leader or will you sit idly while he establishes a Divine Just State with his companions?
