because metallica is triviums inspiration. for some uncertain reason, some individuals feel that trivium stole riffs and solos and stuff from them, but they dont sound a thing alike! trivium sounds more like as i lay dying, and metallica sounds like iron maiden and megadeth, PURE DIFFERENCE
@alecdawg11 its really hard to sing and scream in succession, especially if he were going to try to use the high pitched voice he used when he recorded it, that is my assumption to why he sings the chorus like that

Travis was the perfect trivium drummer the is always getting off trying to sound better than the original.. another thing is I think matt started to damage his voice in this year in this performance i can notice, it was really a shame because he had a great vocals

It's not a les paul custom, it's a les paul supreme, if you look at the headstock and inlay you'll see it's different than on a regular LP custom. The headstock is an inlay of earth with a banner in front with supreme written on it.
