A standard size neck cannot intonate on a Starcaster body. Your guitar will always be out of tune above the 12th fret. You’d need a custom neck made for that guitar for it to actually work.
@p-01official the scale length is the same on both the pacifica and the starcaster. You'll be fine in terms of intonation. Maybe see about setting the neck correctly in to the pocket. Take it to a shop for a set up and you should be golden. I agree shame about the loss of the headstock but hey if it makes you happy, that's all that matters!
Glad i waited theyre about to release an affinity starcaster with a 70s style strat headstock. In white and with rose wood neck!
