I have the same championship game for the sun belt. Ultimately I believe Texas state wins the Sun belt.
How you got Arkansas State ahead of both Troy and USA? Do you know something we don’t?
I mean it’s not too hard to see. Troy and South Alabama are both dealing with new coaches and lose tons of talent. Both lose their star QB, RB, and tons on defense. A-State has more returning starters than both Troy and South Alabama combined. Factor in that A-State gets to host both of those teams (South Alabama is their homecoming game off a bye week) and they’re bound to win one of those games, if not both. Red Wolves won’t be world beaters, but this is the best team Butch Jones has had in Jonesboro.
@@TheGridironExpert considering Troy beat stAte 37-3 last year I don’t think that’s enough to close the gap and put the Red Wolves ahead of the Trojans. Gio Lopez at USA is going to be great, so I wouldn’t put stAte ahead of both teams. The USA game lines up nicely for stAte but there’s no way they beat both USA AND Troy this year. Troy still has so much going for them and it’s just too soon for stAte. But I don’t think everyone is going to run over them this year. Honestly, stAte only had a consistency problem last year. There were times when they looked fantastic. We’ll see. Btw I sure was pulling for them in that bowl game against N Ill.
@@TheGridironExpert the REAL deciding factor will be consistency on offense. In their 6 wins they averaged 46 ppg with a low of 31 against Stony Brook. In their 7 losses they averaged 11 ppg with a high of 21 at Marshall. As this offense goes, so goes the winning.
