Thank you so much for your kind comment. When I was younger, I thought arthritis was only something "older" people developed... I was wrong....so yes... take care of your hands and fingers. When it gets to the point the pain and/or arthritis prevents you from playing how you're use to, then playing in alternate tunings can really help. Best wishes to you. 🎸🎵🎼

The very lightest gauge of Strings not only make the Guitar easier to play, they might also allow the Guitar to vibrate more freely.
