Yep, the heated gear came in handy especially through the light snow area on our way to Hwy 395. But the roads were clear and we also saw several herds of wild horses. We'll do it again, and thanks to Marty for organizing and leading this ride.

But it was tooooo short- Once we get our bike sorted, we’ll have to do another one with y’all … Honda is supposed to start sending out recall notices in January- hopefully the problem will be isolated further by the VIN numbers, and fingers crossed, we won’t be affected. Be careful with that pronunciation! I've never encountered locals who get so touchy about the way people say the name of their state than Nevadans. I still don't know how to say it in a way that pleases everyone LOL I need to check out that ghost town! I'm camping in Death Valley the last Saturday of the month. It's gonna be COLD!
