I had early hands on for nearly 3 weeks before launch, to celebrate the release of Gunvolt 3, I have provided some video content to showcase.
The first video I'm showing will be a guide on knowing the basics as Kirin.
Kirin is a brand new character to the series and her playstyle is a fusion of Gunvolt's long range tagging and close range sword play from (Mega Man's) Zero.
I cover the main differences to other mechanics including Kudos and showcasing some powerful image pulse perks players will unlock along the way (minor spoilers at best here).

Thank you. I just went through the tutorial, and everything was moving so fast that i didn't quite internalise everything. Very fun game, though. I just bought it, berserk boy and 20xx/30xx. Im a huge megaman and mm zero fan. I had to support inticreates.

awesome video, also i learned just by playing with the right button timing you can spam the first single slash in the combo!
Do you remember which passive image pulses you were using at around the 5 minute mark? The extra midair jumps especially would make S++ ranking the stages easier.
That is the BB image pulses, the 3 star version, when fully upgraded give you unlimited air jumps.:)
Her movement and playstyle is insanely better than anything I thought a MC in this series could feel like this is what I wish cope in IX2 felt cause the chainsaw did not feel satysfying or we'll adjusted to the gameplay at all compared to his dash tackling Kirin being a mix of zero Vergil and Gambit made her extremely appealing and the voice acting was well done overall this game makes me hope kirin plays a vital role cause the ending makes GV feel like he's gonna be the new X from MegaMan Zero
Do the tags home while in chain for a combo
does anyone know if there were additional skills kirin could perfrom that came from her boss fight with coupen? was sure i saw it one time or maybe i'm mistaken
Any chance you'll make a guide for Gunvolt? as well as the Special GV mode you unlock later on?
So, Kirin cant reflect projectile with his katana as shown in the trailers ?
Kirin is a girl and she can reflect some projectiles including green flames from BB and physical bullets from chain gun guards in Forest.
@@Greenalink Oh ok, that was not explained. And sorry, i forgot english grammar :p
@@shinobivdk Fair enough, I rarely used deflecting as I tend to avoid attacks altogether. It does become very useful in higher difficulties though.

They're releasing it this winter.
Only the Playstation version has not been announced yet.

I think it's because GV games were usually timed exclusives for Nintendo platforms.
GV1 PC took a year after 3DS
GV2 PC took nearly 4 years after 3DS
GV3 PC will be 5-7 months after Switch
Xbox owners in an unexpecting twist will be getting GV3 early August.
