- Lucas had a follow up visit today, and the doctor is wanting to do another MRI before proceeding with the next step. Although that is a huge bill, the doctor believes things are trending in a positive way, and we can't help but be so thankful. We hope you have a very blessed and happy day! We talk about earthquake safety a lot. My boys are super into the science behind earthquakes and since we live on the San Andreas fault I’m happy they are interested in the science because they are bound to feel one soon.

I saw a cute idea..if you tape crepe party streamers on your kids door while it's closed, stuff balloons and stringy streamer in-between the door and streamers so when your kids open their door all the balloons fall towards them as their walking through the door and breaking through the streamers..it's so cute. Your girls will probably like that more. I'm going to do that for my grandbabys last day of kindergarten as a surprise for him.

Wow, just listening to that, she was born during the pandemic. Wow, that's so worrying that the new babies don't know what happen a few years before they were born, and that the world kinda changed. I just the babies/toddlers understand what happen and they can continue living with now worries and happy memories.

Austin, I just wanna point out they are doing another MRI most likely because it’s been coming back even though he’s been on the medication and so they want to make sure it’s properly clearing up and not spreading under the skin and as soon as he got weaned off the medicine. It pops up twice as badwhich has happened quite often so they’re not trying to get money from you. They just need to make sure everything looks good.
I live in Iceland and we have earthquakes all the time, but everything has always been ok

The girls are little enough if u collect easter eggs hold them til the school year then throw a before school starts party place cute erasers and special papers into the eggs. For each paper place it color coded to certain pencils crayons markers back pack. Make sure to do the simuliar things in two different color eggs one set for micah one for paige. It will get them pumped for school. Also something i recently did with my daughter we took a styrofoam egg and let her dress it up in pipe cleaners,stickers, yarn, markers, buttons. But i explained to her that certain colors and items say blue,brown,black or dark colors ones comes from dads genes, and light colors moms genes then she is to make a kid of both mom and dads genes and this is how she was made part of mom part of dad. Very good learning project.

I had a tech take a blood draw from me last year and they hit a nerve and it took about 10 days to stop hurting. I’m hoping that’s not your case. Love y’all.❤️

Jess, have they ever checked ypu for endometriosis? I ask because i dealt with a lot of your symptoms when i was younger. Initially it was diagnosed as pmdd. Then 10 years later it was confirmed rhay i actually have endometriosis and chronic fatigue syndrome not pmdd. And that the pmdd was a misdiagnosis. Which is pretty common since endo shares a ton of symptoms with pmdd, PCOS, and chronic fatigue syndrome, anong other things.

Most likely the needle was coming out of your arm. The vials are pressurized and that will happen if you pull the needle out while drawing the blood. I used to do phlebotomy. Sorry it happened to you.
I have never heard of a blood draw causing so much pain. Injections do sometimes. It all comes down to how the tech does it, and your obviously did not do it correctly. I would call your doctor and let her/him know so the tech doesn't do it to someone else.
As a phlebotomist I agree with this 💯. It should not hurt. It should just feel like a little pinch if done correctly.unless there was a burr on the needle, which we can't see. It can happen sometimes with manufacturing. But they're microscopic so you can't see them and of course due to health and safety reasons we can't feel the needles for things like that. Also sounds like the tourniquet was left in too long. Just a few possibilities.
I've had cortisone shots and they are nothing compared to blood draws. I mentioned it the 2nd time around and the tech said it makes sense because of the nerves protecting veins. But only pain as needle goes in not afterwards.

Austin they need to be sure before they ween him off the meds that there is nothing going on inside his brain with the disease. The only way to see is to take an MRi. Would u rather they don’t take it and there was still something going on that he should have stayed on the meds longer to help with his condition but they missed it by not doing it? It’s not about buying a new Ferrari. 🤦🏾♀️ It’s needed.

You could show her the footage of the earthquake! I remember it, you hid under your table! We had quite a few later last year which was weird for where we live, we had like 5 in 2 weeks or something. It was kind of scary since they are so rare for us.
