I like the fenced in area. Gives a lot more security for the doggo. They get all wrapped up on things when they have to be on a lead. I don't know how to describe it but I saw a guy using pool noodles wedged under his canopy to hold the canopy part up. Worked like a charm. I'm sure you can figure out how to jury rig something. He had them kinda curved but I couldn't tell how he had them fastened in.
Yes, it was wonderful having that huge area for Sierra....that property is just a nice place to camp and the owners are great! Great tip for the canopy, I haven't really looked at it yet....but we'll figure something out, gotta keep it alive! Take care!

I'd rent that dog corral once a week. Glad that guy set you up. Hipcamp has been a mess for us too.
